what I’ve liked so far about the World Cup is watching foreigners realize just how diverse the United States is. this country is basically the size of europe, and everything from food to geography to climate/weather to hospitality is so varied from region to region. people always say we don’t have culture, but that is frankly not true and so dismissive of not only native americans but the millions of immigrants who have carved out a life here. yes we currently have possibly the worst administration in our history and is built on colonization and imperialism, but like in other countries in similar situations it doesn’t negate the melting pot of good people and the communities we’ve built

zoro gets jealous (often) when luffy is impressed by other men, luffy has blushed three times because of zoro and has offered to share his lunch w him so he'd go adventuring, zoro's dream now includes luffy in it and has said he'd go to hell with his captain, luffy always says hi to zoro first and explicitly tells him how much he's missed him, they have scars in the same places (chest and left eye), they can communicate wordlessly and match each others freak, sun god and the king of hell, when they're injured the other's reaction is almost always shown first, zoro smiles the widest when looking at luffy and was given his vivre card, luffy told zoro in front of all of elbaf and the holy knights 'his name is zoro. he's with me' aka he's mine, and yet. and yet ppl r still like 'its weird to ship them'

actually one of the funniest things about the first episode of the vampire lestat is that lestat spends almost the full episode thinking about how much he hates his fucking guitar player and god this guy is so awful I literally HAVE to kill him on stage and. meanwhile in larry’s head everything is hunky dory and gives him a lil smooth at the club
