Santana: Even though she wouldn't keep the bow in her hair, and her dress was dirty by the time we got to the reception. She was still a little princess.

Santana: Oh yes, we were definitely wrapped up in each other, and the sheets, all night long. And we've barely moved from the bed today.

Santana: I can't wait to see Parker all dressed up for our wedding like she was for yours and Liv's wedding. She was so adorable.

Kenzi: And there's the 'too much detail' I've been waiting for haha

Santana: Lol. Yes. We're going to be getting married. Kenzi this ring is so beautiful I can't stop staring at it.

Kenzi: I seriously freaked out and thought either Dani got cold feet last minute, I ruined the surprise, or things were about to get awkward for you two haha

Santana: We... went to dinner and to the pier... then came home and basically saw the sun come up.

Dani: Wow, Kenzi. You'd think that you were going to be the one to propose. I'm rolling my eyes at you right now.

Dani: And no promises, but I'll try haha. I already know I'm not getting down on one knee. I'm way too short, that'll look awkward.

Kenzi: It doesn't matter how tall you are! Although... me getting down on one knee didn't go too well... I stumbled on the way down and hit Liv in the face with the ring...

Dani: So... Tomorrow is the day I propose to Santana. And I'm freaking out, Kenzi.

Kenzi: Wait. What?! Tomorrow?! Really??? OMG that's so exciting Dani!

Olivia shook her head. “That’s why I didn’t say anything. You were already being overprotective and I didn’t want to add to that. There wasn’t anything you could’ve done about it anyway. I just needed that time to pass, and now it has.” She nodded at her wife’s words and smiled. She kissed Kenzi back and rested their foreheads together again once their lips parted. “I love you too babe.” She kissed her quickly a couple times before she pulled away completely. “Okay. Now, I’m going to the store and I’ll be right back.” She said as she hurried out of the kitchen and their house.

Kenzi knew Olivia was right. If she knew that the blonde was so worried, she probably would have just made things worse. “Well I’ll try to lighten up. And you let me know if anything is bothering or scaring you from now on and we can handle it together. Deal?” She smiled into heir kisses and sighed as her wife left her arms. “Okay. Could you get me some oreos or something? Those actually sounds really good right now... I’ll be here when you get back! Drive safe, love.” Kenzi just stood there for a minute after Olivia was gone. She was so lucky. “I can’t believe I’m going to be a mom...” Smiling, she glanced over at the dishes. She might as well do them since Liv was away.

Olivia laughed and held her hands up. “Hey. If you want to do the dishes, that’s fine by me. I was just saying, because I usually do them.” She shook her head. “I don’t need to be independent, because any decisions I make are for all of us. I’m very much dependent on you in my life, I just need to be treated like an adult.” She hugged Kenzi as she confessed her fears and nerves. “I know. Trust me, I know.” She closed her eyes and took a deep breath as she rested her forehead against her wife’s shoulder. “The bigger reason I’ve been putting off telling everybody, is because I wanted to make sure I was well passed the time I miscarried last time. I’ve been going along with all your healthy eating and everything, because I’ve been so scared. I’m sorry I just let it all build up, and I promise that I’ll eat vegetables every day, I just need the one day where I don’t have to eat them all day.”

Kenzi smiled and hugged Olivia back. She ran her fingers through her wife’s blonde hair and kissed the top of her head. Kenzi hadn’t even thought about how Olivia had miscarried before. “Oh, Liv. You should have told me. I completely understand why you were scared. Things like that are traumatizing, and if I had known that’s what you’ve been thinking about, I would have been there for you more recently.” Kenzi lifted Olivia’s head off of her shoulder and held her face in her hands before smiling. “It’s going to be okay, baby. We can do this. Our baby is going to be happy and healthy and have the two most loving parents in the world.” She pressed their lips together in a loving kiss and let it linger for a moment before pulling away slightly. “I love you so much.”

Olivia shook her head. “Nope. I’ve eaten all the vegetables I’m going to for today. Babe, I’m asking for one out of seven days where I don’t have to eat vegetables with every single meal and snack. I know you want me and our baby to be healthy, but you know how I ate before you came along. I feel like I’m turning into a vegetable.” She sighed. “It’s fine, I’ll go and be back soon. After I eat the chips and brownies, I’ll wash the dishes. Okay?” She leaned back into her wife and laced their fingers together on her stomach. “I know you do. We love you too.” She turned around and rested their foreheads together. “I just…need to be treated normally and like an adult, not a child.”

“Okay. One out of seven days works. I guess it’s fine for you to have some unhealthy snacks every now and then. And if you’re a vegetable, you’re a very sexy vegetable.” She winked and laughed. “I can do the dishes...” Kenzi sighed and looked down at their hands. “Okay. You’re right. I need to let you be more independent. I’ll let you do the dishes. It’s just...” She bit her lip and sighed. “I’m scared, Liv. Taking care of Parker is one thing, but being having your own child? That’s completely different! I just... I guess I’m just taking out my nerves on you. I’m sorry.” She brought Olivia’s hand up to her mouth and kissed the back of her hand.

Olivia smiled at her wife’s rambling and shook her head. She bit her lip, but turned down the ice cream. “No deal. I don’t want ice cream. I want salty chips and fudgy brownies.” She sighed as she pushed her remaining vegetables away. “I’m 30 years old, I can decide if I finish my vegetables or eat chips and brownies. Tonight, I’m making the unhealthy choice.” She shook her head as she stood up from the table and brought her plate to the sink. “You can ask me once a day, but that’s the limit unless I’m sick or not looking well. I’m pregnant not injured.”

Kenzi sighed in defeat. It was worth a shot. “Fine. But... can you at least take a couple more bites? Pleease? I’ll drive you to the store and we can buy you what you want.” The chef didn’t mean to be so annoying, she was just over-protective and cared about her wife and their child a lot. Though she could tell that definitely annoyed the blonde. After a few more hurried bites, Kenzi took her plate to the sink before wrapping her arms around Olivia from behind, pulling their bodies together, and resting both hands on Liv’s abdomen. “Once a day... got it.” She lightly pressed her lips to her wife’s neck. “I’m sorry, Liv. I just care about you. Both of you.”
