I don't think role-casters understand how worthy Thomas Brodie-Sangster is. They think he's a smaller actor, but let me tell you, put him in anything and the fangirls are all over it before it's even out.

Simulation?

I'm just saying, if WICKED's technology was so advanced they could actually wipe memories, why use real boys? By that I mean, why not just put them under a simulation (kinda live in Divergent). It'd be alot more humane, probably cost less(though money wasn't really a problem, was it?), and the trails could've been over so quick, all they would have to do is speed up the simulation. I know they waited so long because they wanted to find their "Golden Child", but they could've found him quicker by studying his reactions to certain simulations. Sorry for the rant, it's just something I've been thinking about for a while.

If you think Ava Paige set up Paradise instead of Teresa you’re probably wrong. Sure, she betrayed them and was WICKED’s pet, but she seemed like the kind to always have a backup plan. Especially if it was for her Thomas.

SOO… I just read The Fever Code and i needed to talk about some things…

Teresa

(spoilers might occur *) Teresa only did what she thought was right, I get that. But sometimes I believe that if she hadn’t betrayed Thomas from the very beginning in tfc, she could have stopped it. And if Thomas plan worked, then Chuck, Newt, Alby and many more of the gladers didn’t have to die. She didn’t have to die. She only did was she thought was right, but the thought of her knowing all along what was going to happen to her friends and did nothing to prevent it, makes me cry.

ok alright, i just finished reading The Fever Code.

i thought i could go without ranting about it and i’ve let out my annoyance on multiple review sites but here goes.

first off, is no one bothered by the injustice that Thomas has endured HIS WHOLE ENTIRE LIFE? i thought things got bad for him after he entered the Glade, but it breaks my heart knowing that the entire time before that he was brain washed, used and betrayed by the people around him. oh yeah i’ll be getting to Teresa in a bit.

it just makes me so sad, i just get the feeling that he never really got the credit he deserved. he was selfless and compassionate and he was betrayed by Ava Paige. i mean the fact that he never wanted his memories back pained me because he never knew about his selfless act for his friends, his brotherly love for Chuck that existed before the maze and the fact he played a very important part for WICKED (which i feel like he would do now without knowing but still). also in the end book, he had no idea of the bond him and Teresa had which the Scorch Trials completely ruined his perspective on her. i mean like, the dude knew a lot about the trials and how important he was but it sucks he never knew.

oh yeah, and Teresa. it has definitely change my perspective on her and i’m yet to read the series again fully knowing that Teresa was acting. i just can’t bring myself to believe that Teresa would dismiss everything her and Thomas have been through just to solely work as WICKED’s robot. i believe that she was playing both sides, or maybe her perspective changed after the Scorch because we all know she sacrificed her life for Thomas in the end.

oh and WHAT THE FUCK AVA PAIGE? i thought this character had conflicting feelings with her duty to find a cure and her love for Thomas. but this BITCH knew the whole time before she let Thomas enter the maze that he was DESTINED to be killed (of course Chuck was an unknown variable and absolutely heartbreaking, i’m not looking forward to rereading that).

the one thing i will take out of this however is that Thomas obviously had a mission and despite losing his memory he still achieved that goal and kept his genuine objectives in sight and saved his friends. well some of them. it still pains me to think about their bond before the swipe and what happened after they escape the Scorch.

i feel like all us TMR fans wanted to know the truth. but now that we know… my heart aches
