This time last year, I made a bold move and transferred to my current company. It was hard for me to leave because I made good friends in my old work. I took the job because it was some sort of promotion and pay was better (too bad I didn’t consider health card because my current company doesn’t provide HMO to their employees). I really took it because I felt really pressured to be in a certain position because of my age. I was late in the game but, well, I guess I was a late bloomer. So, I took it. I only had a weekend to really rest before I start with my new work. Note to self: give yourself a week of rest. Anyway, fast forward to a few months... I still feel lost and I feel that I do not belong to this company. My heart isn’t here (anymore... or was my heart in it ever since?). I remember on my first year of work, it was a hard time and bad time for me. I never got things, the way they do things... I tried to blend in, do the things they do... but no... I never was happy. Is it because of the bosses? It’s a big factor. I just feel that I am stuck. I feel that I have to kiss asses so I could go on top. That’s not how I work. I work quietly and I show them results. I hope when it’s my time to leave they get to appreciate my efforts. I heard that when you leave in this company they make you feel that you made the wrong decision or they make you feel that you owe the company big time. Aalis na nga lang, stress pa. Hay. Lord, help me please.
