There’s not even any research into what I think w is a pretty big part of autism: not being able to do things. Like wanting to do something and there’s no reason you can’t do it but you just don’t, anything from going to the toilet to doing homework. And sometimes you feel like you’re just stuck sat on the couch but then if someone else moves it can help?

My mum calls it inertia and she’s doing her doctorate in it but it’s shock that it’s not even on a diagnostic spec

I thought it was all autism too for most of my life, but it was a Bad Problem and it just got worse over time and it screwed everything up and then I found out that I actually had pretty much the textbook ADHD presentation for an AFAB person

and that’s another thing I’d like research on: why autism and ADHD are so closely linked
