hey man, i respect your identity as an aroace person and all that and i understand wanting to have something to relate to-- but i think right now the best thing you could have done was make a separate post and tag it in the aro/ace tags for your people to see and relate to. instead of trying to justify your actions, it would be easier to say "oops, my mistake!" and issue a real sincere apology to the lesbians whose post you derailed unknowingly. im not trying to start beef, this isnt hate btw

You dont have to explicitly say you hate "homosexuals" to still conduct homophobia. You can still "accept homosexuals" and still partake in homophobia without realizing. Stop calling lesbians homosexual and call them lesbians. Stop calling gay people homosexuals and call them gay. Calling them anything else is homphobic

Alright first of all saying and calling people "homosexuals" is already homophobic enough as it is. Secondly, if you "have lesbian friends" I'm sure they would've been able to teach you about lesbian things and terminology. You are disrespecting your lesbian friends by calling them homosexuals

Thank you so much for your kindness. I've thought of adopting when I'm older. There's women in my family who have hard times conceiving and I might be one of them. It's nice to know that I'm not completely hated by tumblr. :)
