white women always do this pity party bullshit when they do something stupid and it’s so transparent and insidious…ariana KNOWS she has fans who will vehemently defend her to the point of getting malicious. so her being a grown ass 25 year old woman and logging onto twitter to be like “well i’m going to stop learning japanese now, i was going to move there someday but oh well, i only had POSITIVE INTENTIONS but it’s all good :(“ is so…not just pathetic because the bitch is capable of making mistakes even if her intentions were “positive” but it’s just pathetic imo how white women can never hold themselves accountable without doing things like this even when they pretend they ARE listening and they ARE taking criticism.

it would be so much more effective to say “hey, i apologize. i know it doesn’t erase what i did but i want to do better moving forward.” like yeah i get it boo hoo it sucks that you’re the butt of the joke because you got a stupid tattoo. instead she’ll continue to butcher AAVE and spray tan and act like a weird culture vulture because stan culture enables that behavior and white women never apologize in a way that is sincere. if you like ariana and feel like jumping to her defense then feel free to argue with yourself by the way because i don’t give a fuck.

like this woman is 25 years old. doing that performative halfway-woke thing where you claim your intentions were “full of love” and talking about appropriation vs. appreciation is extremely empty considering the fact that she still attempts to garner pity and make herself out to be a victim by saying things like “oh i took my merch down not that anyone cared to notice” and “oh i wanted to move to japan someday but it’s all good”. what is a half apology like that even good for?

i’m not disappointed in her because i don’t hold out hope in white women. in the end they’re always passive aggressive and sulky whenever they get rightfully called out for doing something they shouldn’t have. i just think this pity party charade is such a pathetic move on her part and it’s irritating as fuck watching this happen knowing that people will go to the grave bit just defending her, but lashing out at anyone and everyone who criticizes her, even if that criticism is polite, necessary, educational, etc. it doesn’t matter.
