New Reunion || Jory
Jory nodded and smiled as Eti made a move to kiss his face and then broke away. “Yes, I’ll be right there,” His hand kept up as they walked off and he watched. “Damn–Eti..you really surprised me tonight.– He thought gnawing on the inside of his lower lip. The familiar tug of arousal sliding over his skin from their touch leaving an imprint.
It was true then, Time and space had made the heart grow fonder. In that instant he felt a hard tug in his chest. He missed the boy. Well, not so much boy anymore. He chuckled at the thought. Eti was a man now and extremely attractive. Not that he wasn't always attractive, but his features were maturing from the teenage boy, he once knew years ago and into a young man.
Jory pulled from deep thoughts, feeling the slight bump of another model moving passed him. He recognized the other man with a wink, turned and walked to gather his personal belonging from the dressing room.
Moments afterward, once outside in the crisp, cool autumn air, he breathed a sign of relief. The night had been a success and he was happy with his choice to accept the invitation to New York. He took in sight of Eti’s bodyguard waving him over. It was then that Jory paused a moment gesturing his hand upward to pull his cell phone from his pants pocket.
He laughed softly in amusement at his phone blowing up with notifications. And scanning the texts and missed calls quickly, he’d place them aside for now. He sent a text than made one call to cancel the other plans set for the evening.
Then he sauntered towards the car and nodded a quick thanks to the bodyguard who opened the back doorway and his slide inside just as the photographers caught a glimpse of him. And they hurried over, but missing the opportunity to photograph Jory’s departure and whom he had joined in the back seat.
“Whelp, here I am, pop and fresh doughboy ” He joked lightly at the old nickname he had given him a long time ago. He had nicknamed him that because Eti had loved to bake. With a nudge of his elbow into Eti’s side and looking at him, he winked “I’m starved, where are we going?”
Nerves continued to assault Etienne’s stomach as more minutes ticked by without a sign of Jory. He didn’t like that some paparazzi were starting to take notice of his parked vehicle. Most likely trying to see into the heavily tinted windows. His leg was bouncing. Fingers tapping on the locked screen of his phone. Would Jory blow him off? There are bound to be more important people in his life than an old flame who suddenly appears out of thin air. Etienne took out the band holding his hair in a neat ponytail. His hands nervously running through the blond locks.
A slight tap at the window startled Etienne out of his swirling thoughts. Blue eyes looked up to see the silhouette of his bodyguard. The window lowered a bit and Etienne caught a glimpse of Jory in the distance on his phone. He let out a relieved breath. All that worrying was for nothing. Etienne felt like laughing at himself. His heart obviously still wanted Jory despite the time and distance that has separated them.
Etienne immediately wanted to throw his arms around Jory and just hold onto him as soon as he slid into the car, but he refrained. He laughed at the old nickname. “I should have made some muffins for you.” Etienne felt his nerves slide away in Jory’s presence. “I made a hurried reservation at a little place that I used to eat at when I lived here. Nothing too fancy. Is that alright?”
