(...okay, so the cartoon's actual title is something more like "Alice in Mirrorland/Behind-The-Mirror-Land", because that's the traditional translation of the book's title, but I'm gonna stick with "looking glass" to avoid confusion.)

Did this one for an art challenge with my friends, we were meant to have our art style described by the others then avoid using any of the traits mentioned. Had to get away from saturated, warm colors and rough textured brushes. 

It was fun at the very least.

Did a little bit of a study of a scene from Moonrise Kingdom, focused on colors and shape and tested out some new brushes and techniques I’ve never used before.

Really enjoyed the process and will probably experiment with this again sometime in the near future...
