In episode 9 when they first started playing “Don’t Let Me Down” I was like oh my god this is such a corny music choice and not romantic or slow enough for the Zaya moment. But then Esme showed up and honestly Zig tumbling down that hill and Esme freaking out to sound of “I think I’m losing my mind now yeeeeaaaah” was iconic. I’m sorry I ever doubted you, Degrassi.

Can we talk about how the editors were sly fucks and made sure to make the first reaction to Tristan getting on stage was Zig and Maya because they wanted to give you fetus flashbacks of the original three seniors who had been on the show for 5 years.Then remind you that they ain’t coming back.
