she doesn’t expect an answer— or, rather, she doesn’t expect a useful answer. her gaze darts up to the clock for a moment. she reckons that if she can stall for another half hour the school will be pretty much empty, and she’ll be able to stop worrying so much about what would happen if missy got out. still, half an hour is a big ask when you’re stuck with a trigger happy time lady.

                               then again, missy wouldn't tell her even if it was. nope. but she knew miss oswald now, knew that she wasn't going to stop ASKING QUESTIONS, infuriating, but she was a clever one, she hadn't picked her for NO GOOD REASON, after all. but, the time lady had always been good at playing games && they were a trap that the doe-eyed egomaniac couldn't help but fall into. it was a rather enjoyable way to pass the time before she got BORED, that was.

                    tones slipped from betwixt CRIMSON lips in a far more DEFENSIVE manner than the time lady would have quite come to like, alas, that didn't make her words any less TRUE. the doctor had never once been capable of looking after himself. not even his plethora of PETS had been able to ensure that, as much as they liked to THINK they did. she'd always been there. whether it was for GOOD or for BAD. && she'd be there long after the doctor came to forget all about miss oswald. she just had to ensure she DIED AT THE RIGHT MOMENT && not a second before. && if that meant keeping her in check, then so be it.
