‘a woman’s freedom ends when she gets pregnant’
the words an ex-minister, Jadwiga Emilewicz, of our current government said today, on 9th day of protests against the new anti-abortion law. let’s make it clear, she’s not an ex-minister because she said it; she’s an ex minister because the government had to pretend they’re making a change.
which basically means, you have no right over your body once you are pregnant, it’s not your body anymore. you can’t make decisions about it. you have no rights. a fetus has more rights than you do. you’re not important. you are nothing. give birth, then you can die. and your kid can then die as well, it’s not important anymore. it’s not in your womb, it’s not ~a miracle of life~. it may be sick? the church and government don’t care. you can die in a ditch for all they know. but when you’re pregnant? you’re not a person. you’re just a vessel growing a new life. you don’t matter. you can’t decide about your body. you’re a person? think again.
