Connie knew her insecurities were stupid, and it twas just her being an overanxious woman, as she’d always been, but she couldn’t help it. “So you’re telling me it’ll never both you that I’m still in my twenties and could be your granddaughter? You’ll never see me as a kid?” she asked. It wasn’t anything he did make her feel like that; he was amazing with her. She just couldn’t help but be worried.
