I've often thought the more articulate and sensible radfems should use platforms like Medium. I like this site for the same reasons you listed and have had a decent experience because the moment I see someone, even someone I agree with, flex their ego or initiate drama, I block them. When genderists start shit, I preemptively block them too. It's possible to use Tumblr without suffering fools. Whatever you decide, please keep us informed! I'd buy a zine!

no offense, and i’m sure this is something that will enrage some radfems, but this entitled attitude towards sexuality and trying to use feminism to cover up their bad behavior is something i’ve largedly observed in white women. i’m not saying that women of color can’t have fucked up and toxic views around sexuality, but every time i’ve seen a post or tweet or article about how ~i can have sex with men, enjoy it, and still be a lesbian~ it’s come from a white woman who, upon being called out by others, will then use feminism as a way to basically say that if you call her out on her words then you’re being misogynistic.

and this is why a lot of women of color don’t like or feel comfortable participating in feminism with white women, because that’s their favorite go-to move. when they’re rightfully called out for the shitty things they say and do, they get really angry and claim that calling them out is misogynistic and victim blaming, as if this woman isn’t doing any harm by writing an entire article about how she’s a lesbian who, with very little prompting, can find dick mesmerizing. notice how she says something along the lines of “i shouldn’t be blamed for other people’s views of lesbians [even though i’m contributing to those views by claiming to be a lesbian who enjoys having sex with men]”

we can’t just call out how this queer shit is being utilized by white men, we need to call out how white women also love to utilize queer theory rhetoric to also contribute to homophobia. (and this isn’t just a bi people problem, it’s definitely also a white entitlement problem).
