Hey! I'm Rebecca and one day I realized... I'm kind of a hipster. It all started when we were talking about music at work and someone asked me "are you a hipster?" and I was all "No!" and he was like " oh, good!" but later I was thinking about it and I realized ... I hate writing these college essays, I feel like such a fake. They want me to have a sense of purpose and believe me, I want that more than anything! But I just don't have it. I have not experienced tragedy, I have not experienced true sadness or despair. I can pretend that I have some sort of thing to stand up for but I have nothing. Why can't I have the bad parts? Am I really that weak that I can't be trusted with anything that might be the least bit difficult?
