On this Thanksgiving Day 2016, I must take a minute to thank God for blessing me (Gail) and Danny with almost 25 years at Hoosick Falls Community Alliance Church.
I am grateful for our church family and that we are a church of faith and prayer and outreach to those in our community. I am thankful that those in our fellowship are not content to be lukewarm, but that we strive to live out the Gospel as best we can with the Holy Spirit's help, whatever the cost.
I am especially grateful that God has given us a loving, caring and compassionate shepherd - Pastor Jonathan Youngmann - a humble man whose love for the Lord is evident; who does not just preach the Word, but lives it out and is not afraid to challenge us to do the same. I am thankful for Loyce, and that the Youngmann's marriage and children are bright, shining examples of what family life should be to our church body, our community and beyond.
I also want to thank our Elders for giving spiritual oversight to the body and also of those who devote so much of their time, talents and treasures to serving in various capacities in our church and in our community.
I am grateful for God's blessing at Hoosick Falls Community Alliance Church. I pray He will continue to guide and direct and provide and protect so we can continue to be that beacon of hope that many around us so desperately need and that He will use us to draw others into His Kingdom.
