yesss!! that one shot of him in mca was enough for me to decide he was a total gym bro himbo kinda guy. jin said he wanted to name shintaro MOMOTARO and the mom said no. that guy must've been so silly. i think the kisaragi parents might've been grumpy x sunshine/black cat x golden retriever/whatever the hell we're calling it these days. yeah. hs sweethearts getting married etc etc.
i also don't know if i totally made this up but i could've sworn in one of the million medias kagepro has, when shintaro's thinking of the possibility of saving everyone trapped in the daze, he thinks of seeing his dad again and thinks he'd think "wow my son became a really pathetic guy". i don't remember if this is real or not bc i don't remember... where to find it... and i'm lazy to look for it. but if its NOT a thing he says, i do think is what shintaro would think anyways lol (his dad wouldn't think that though... sniff sniff)
i personally do like the idea of the guys stuck in the daze hanging out. allow me to recommend a good fanfic by @hibihiiyo called adolescence in red (read tags for warnings). hope has a lot of very good headcanons about the people in the daze hanging out and being awesome together. i really really like it and reading it has inspired my own headcanons regarding these minor characters
so i do like imagining shintaro and momo's dad becoming friends with shion and the others hehe WHICH if u think about it is TEEECHNICALLY canon since it is canon they can all move from daze to daze (tho i hc haruka can't do this since he's still connected to the real world) i think papa kisaragi would love spending time with ayano because she can tell him about his kids u_u

2022/05/26: Jin thinks his most genious lyrics are 「At this point, I remember the song you sung, about “hating the adults”」 from Remind Blue. His staff account quotes Nakayoshi March and mentions that Jin once had a nickname "daisuki oji-san" because he often uses "I love you", like in this Kemono Friends song or in Additional Memory.
2024/07/22: Jin's short tweet about liking Summertime Record (inspired by news of it being featured on TV program?) became viral and collected 60k likes.
