Honestly like MM arc is actually so good compared to the Megasphere arc that I'm so excited for fine event

The Akatsuki/Crazy:B was the most interesting in the sense that it's introducing new points of interest for the underlying Godfather storyline, and I'm super interested in that bc of my Wataru theories, but the Trickstar/Knights and Ra*bits/Esupuri were so freaking good because of their parallels and the accumulation of character flaws/growth.

Like Izumi realising that he's relying too much on Leo, that he's begun to believe what he achieved through using Leo was achieved through his own efforts similarly reflects Trickstars' situation where they've begun to forget that they only got where they are due to the support of those around them. I really like this bc this is something I was critiquing Hokuto for in the Megasphere arc. Even though Makoto is the main parallel to Izumi for this; being the 5☆ and all, Hokuto is also a strong contender for the more explicit "forgetting" because in the SS in (!) Era, he was fully aware that their victory and such were being aided by their friends and seniors.

And then for Ra*bits/Esupuri, I'm actually gonna glaze an unrelated party like crazy. For this the parallel was between them and ex-fine/ex-Valkyrie, it can even be boiled down to just Eichi and Shu honestly. Yume who has a strong ideal for their unit is similar to Shu back in the pre-War days. Because everything needs to be exact and perfect with no room for failure or contingency, a single slip-up or mishap and everything falls apart. That's why Ra*bits could so easily disrupt them by doing something "outside" of the main performance, because this is something that would've thrown the members of ex-Valkyrie; who practice their dances by the second, off track.

It brings me back to the conversation Nazuna had with Eichi in Sanctuary where he said something like, "Will I thank you someday for killing me?". Because in a way this kind of insight and solution is a result of them being "killed" by ex-fine and then growing from that experience to become who they are today...

Obviously something like "killing" Esupuri didn't happen. In an era of peace, the way that Ra*bits helped Esupuri understand the issue is one of kindness too, but that's it.

I'm occasionally chastised for always focusing on the past but I honestly can't help it because the past is what you're familiar with, right? That said, I really want Wataru to get an outfit that has an oversized jacket over his shoulder, like casual or MV or better yet both. I just love that iconic look that his uniform had and it's really been lost to time

It's funny that in wataei fan content, Wataru is often depicted as the one to run away even though in canon he's usually the one coming towards Eichi first. Blackbird, he's the one going after Eichi and visiting him in the hospital. Ep:Link, he's the one looking for Eichi on the rooftop and waiting for Eichi at Ensemble Square. Tempest & Red Ruler, he's the one coming to Eichi, offering to relieve his troubles...

Every month or so, people always bring up the Ep:Link confession scene and blaming Eichi / taking Wataru's side about it. We're on the outside looking in, so we can obviously tell it's a confession scene, but that's not the case for Eichi. In fact, if the argument is that Eichi, who is supposedly the closest to Wataru for that entire year, should've understood his intention, then shouldn't Wataru, who would also the closest to Eichi, already understands Eichi’s struggle with recognising / trusting words of love and friendship?

Was going to post about how Milky Way Eichi Bloomed is a beautiful fairy princess with doves carrying his heavenly wings, but when I looked up the card, they weren’t?! Like the doves surround him, but they're not holding his "wings" up like I thought they were!!

Instead of the usual "Wataru experiences true sadness after Eichi dies and completes his humanity" I actually think Wataru should lose his soul after Eichi dies and return to being a detached actor
