Waiting for evening ritual, They pray to Ganges;
I sit by the river—
Dip my feet in water, And watch the coin-divers
Struggle for loose Change.
~
There is a place Where the river turns—
There,
Oil lamps die.

Humming in the heart Harks art Like a dark bark No gas No coal sit there going Spark spark Tiny lights flying by Round from the snap Centrifugal rounds up gravity to your back Shoulder blades Howl out total impact Stacked up to the spine to the centre of the spire Holy twist Fibonacci get a grip redistribute to the collapse of syntax burning out tongue t o synapse tracks flick it back Click it back blow smoke like a gun Calibre none can't track still run
Spark plug
No corners No push just A slip Echoes get to close to the wall The reverb too plifying Is it the wall that is really screaming Really the pressure Leaving a stink as it drowns Before there's enough It compounds To hide the fact it doesn't know it can't stop White knuckling it's own anger To a point that it has to erupt But it can't Until I open my eyes and let the inside embody the infero character building they discern No Just pushing down once again Move an inch Start again I don't think I can do this alone Again
This week’s cover, “Take the L Train,” by Tomer Hanuka.
Love And Falling Are The Same
Love, Is all we know. And We forget it all the time. Falling, From who we Are. Landing on what we heard, when The Music of everyone, sounded the Same As our hopes
Carving Meaning
I’m hoping that things can Start . End. Go somewhere in the middle. Hoping to show something in the people. So I line out possibilities to realities in a papyrus campsite. sitting back to watch embers rise reflecting wishes on meteorites hope that something anything everything, can be defined. But what is beautiful, that is what is. truthful, Dark, Imperfect, intriguing, engulfing, Overwhelming in the heart, it’s telling a story. But more than that in every sense there is a hope That form has function Sounds are symbols a hope That we are individuals to connect the paradox of disconnect unison objects floating in space only dancing away to an invisible music I like the simple stillness Accompanied Alongside a movement that picks the points to rejoin throw me up like I'm in love drop me from the sky like I'm in love and I’ll find a place in between for peace permitting only the music will never cease turn me over mark your eyes on my life witness my end carry me at your breast Let those chambers ring with each pulse beat let your wings shift still wind let the dance of life Find meaning Can we?
Reflections
We find no solace
In the day
Or the night
We look for likeness
They lie and call them endless
We wait for the sun to kiss the earth
When, that great and terrible star,
What was once called God
is seen so small
So vulnerable
Almost
Dead
It never feels
Like it will never.
rise again.
You see
The galaxy will die
Just to remind you that in you
The universe sees it's
reflection.
Horizon
I will never speak in truths Written words are the blueprints Built on foundations of madness You, spoke truth That my ocean heard Gravity finally let me down My eyes finally adjusted to the light I live a different life in your sky You were my dawn My dream You were twilight
Arcaid Images Architectural Photography Awards 2015
Arcaid Images is a photographic resource representing images from all aspects of the built world, ancient and modern, iconic and ordinary. Our contributors, photographers and institutions are global. Arcaid’s founder photographer, Richard Bryant trained as an architect which puts our roots squarely in contemporary architecture. The experience of architecture for the majority of people is via images. The architecture itself is the focus and the image regarded only as the medium.
The Arcaid Images Architectural Photography Award aims to put the focus onto the skill and creativity of the photographer. We ask the judges and the viewers to look beyond the architecture to the composition, light, scale, atmosphere, sense of place and understanding of the project.
Shortlisted photographs for the Arcaid Images Architectural Photography Awards 2015 will be exhibited at the World Architecture Festival in Singapore, 4-6 November 2015. The Arcaid Images Architectural Photographer of the year Award highlights the expertise of the specialist architectural photographer, translating the sophistication of architecture into a readable and understandable two dimensions, to explain and extol the character, detail and environment of the project.

“I spent about ten years as a music agent. Along the way, I became very interested in how my clients handled success. Some of them were tremendously successful but quite unhappy. Others seemed quite content with their success. The subject interested me so much that I went back to school to study the science of happiness, and now I teach the subject at NYU. Happiness doesn’t necessarily mean you have a smile on your face. It’s more of a mixing board with several different dials: positive emotion, engagement, relationships, meaning, and achievement. Everyone’s mixing board is set differently. There’s no one way to be happy and there’s no wrong way to be happy. I may draw my happiness from relationships, while somebody else may need to be constantly engaged in the pursuit of a goal.”
