heyyyyyyy so im aware im behind on updates. ahahaha yeah... artfight started, and i did not manage to build up a backlog before then, and also forgot to announce a hiatus.

yeah. the comic will be back in August, and i miiiight have smth special to spice it up

I have a very exciting announcement!

On the 1st of September of 2026, (this year.) This blog will be hosting the first Underrated TMNT Au Competition! It is planned to have 16 creators compete against each other to make it to the number 1 spot!

This is a competition for underrated creators and their au's! So if you know anyone that isn't getting the appreciation that they deserve, then this is the place for them!

To enter yourself or someone else, send an email to [email protected] or send in an ask! (If entering someone other than yourself, please ask the creator first if they'd like to join. Thank you!)

And now, I'm tasking you with this, fellow tmnt fan! Spread the word of this competition! You can tag people and ask for entries to have a better chance at making it into the 16 that will be chosen!

designing the samurai rabbit cast as existing yokai while also keeping their designs recognizable, and making them fit my version of the rottmnt artstyle has been a fun challenge - but this guy was definitely the most difficult hfjfjtkwkf

heck, just trying to draw him normally, on model, was weirdly difficult for me TT^TT

he's so cute as a child tho <3

Tetsujin is such a fun character lol, especially having him interact with child Leo. They're both so confident in their own point of view.

@alcadanon has done wonderfully on the colours, as usual. i love the mystic background on Tetsujin's intro panel! and his speech bubbles :3

i have been super busy up until this past weekend, and so has my colourist, so we havent been able to even draw the page, nevermind colouring. never fear, though, the page wil be up next monday! the update schedule will continue as normal from there

@alcadanon was very excited when i drew absolutely no background line art, because that meant it was free real estate! I am also pleased with this decision, since Al's colouring is way better than my scenery drawing skills XD
