Hewwo!! Here's chapter 2^^
Chapter 2- The white rabbit
A year before the krang showed up, there was an odd disturbance in New York City.
Above a dumpster in an alleyway, a portal opened and out from it, fell a rabbit. He crashed down into the pile of garbage and grimaced with disgust by the smell before climbing out.
His pet tokage greeted him and went on one knee to pet his tokage and put him over his shoulders.
"Hey bunny boy!" A voice came from the end of the alleyway and out from the shadows stepped a warthog and rhino.
The rabbit was relieved to see beings like him for a brief moment until the two approached him. He saw the glint of a knife in the hand of the rhino.
"You're in the wrong alley." The rhino went to throw a hit.
"Woah! Hey!" The rabbit gasped and moved out of the way from the swing. He drew out his sword, edgewing and the fight didn't last long before the two others were on the ground.
From around the corner stood a human who had watched the short fight and the rabbit had turned edgewing towards them.
"What happened here? Why are you even out without a cloak on?" The bellhop questioned.
The rabbit lowered his sword, slightly confused why the human was asking him all these questions.
The bell hop made his way over to the rabbit and ushered him inside a hotel.
Inside, the rabbit was shocked by how many others like him there were. The bellhop had transformed from a human into a fox and walked past the rabbit. "Big Mama would like to see you." He gestured for the rabbit to follow him to the elevator.
He was led to a huge office and approached the desk where a lady turned her chair to face him, the rabbit's pet tokage was slightly taken back by her presence.
"Hello bunny-boo!" She smiled. "A little birdie dropped the dime on what you did outside my grand nexus. Quite the jam you got into!"
"Please don't call me 'bunny-boo' ever again."
The lady just laughed. "Do you know where you are? You seem to be a long way from home but don't fret, fuzzy-wuddly-poo, you are in the grand nexus hotel a place that takes in humans and yokai like yourself alike!"
"Yokai like myself? Wait- I'm not a yokai-"
The lady hummed. "You aren't human. Here, we call ourselves yokai!" She pushed her glasses up. "Allow me to properly introduce myself. My name is Big Mama and you are?"
"Yuichi Usagi," the rabbit replied. "And you were right I am a long way from home- I don't belong here. I'm from another world."
Big Mama listened to him and after a long moment she let out a thoughtful hum. "Well I would love to help you go back home, bunny-poo, but here Big Mama needs something in return."
"What is it?" Usagi asked.
"While I find a waysie-woo for you to go to your little-winkle home world I want you to fight in my battle nexus," Big Mama stated without hesitation. She was looking for something new to bring to her battle nexus and Usagi could bring something new.
Without much thought, Usagi agreed to this deal.
That was one of the worst mistakes he made. It's been over a year since Usagi was in New York and whenever he had asked for any leads, Big Mama would just tell him to scram. If she was even working on finding a way back home for him, then her progress would've been delayed by the krang invasion a few months ago. The invasion of the krang was devastating to her business but she kept all her champions on a tight leash.
A bellhop knocked on the door to Usagi's room. "Big Mama asks for you."
"Tell her I'll be up in a minute," the rabbit yokai yelled through the door.
It was out of the usual for Big Mama to ask for Usagi so suddenly which made him slightly nervous. He told his pet tokage, Spot, to stay put and that he'd return soon (hopefully). He made his way up to her office and composed himself before speaking. "Ayy Big Mama! What are ya up to?" He finger gunned at her awkwardly.
Big Mama didn't look amused by Usagi's antics. "Oh bunny-boo I have fantastical whimsy-doo news for you!"
That caught Usagi's attention.
"I've found you a way back home," she began. "But I want you to complete a tiney-winsey taskadoo for me."
Usagi frowned at that. He should've known there would be a catch to when she had finally found a way back home for him. It was almost useless to even ask her to go home at this point.
"I want you to spy on those turtley-poos for me."
"What?" Usagi looked dumbfounded. He heard about the turtle brothers who saved New York City from the krang and he heard stories about how they weren't on the best terms with Big Mama.
"I want you to gather information, bring intel, tell me what pickle they're in nowadays," she explained with a giggle. "Only then will I allow you to go home."
