you’re too cute omg xD but thank you :D i love every single thread i have with cait because they’re just adorable aren’t they? i love hat he’s such a glowing ball of warm sunshine because it’s like, idk, it’s refreshing and so nice to play someone who is generally always happy and protective over everything x) i shall keep it up as best i can :D
Caitlin nearly glared at him, but soon his lips were covering her own and she had forgotten all about why she might have been glaring. Not that she would have to begin with. Her mood was far too happy for that kind of look.

The affect the kiss had on her made him chuckle into the kiss lightly only to kiss her nose. Ronnie’s hand had Caitlin’s own as they laid in the bed, his finger gently rubbing over her wedding right.
“I like the sound of both as well.”
This had been exactly what she needed. Lately there had t been too many emotions that she kept bottled up. Being able to cry in his arms, and mourn the loss of they all faced was reassuring. Just getting to be in his arms was more than even to make her feel like she might just be able to piece herself back together.
And she would be. They had their entire life together ahead of them. There was more than enough time to heal from the wounds the particle accelerator caused them. It all made sense to her now. His reasoning for wanting to go so they could create a lives for themselves.
A soft smile tugged at the corners of her mouth as she let out one last shaky breathe. Her eyes stayed on his, taking in what he was saying, only to realize that he needed to know what she meant.
❝ Ronnie – I want a family with you. We can’t do that if we’re fighting metahumans. I’m not going to put ourselves at risk if we have kids. They need us both safe. Not possibly dying. ❞
It took a moment for him to realize that she didn’t mean what he thought she meant. There was a moment where he didn’t know how to respond, taken aback by it. Ronnie had been so focused on coming back home, coming back to Caitlin and seeing if they were ready to move their relationship forward that he never actually thought about what would come afterwards.
Now that he was faced with that, he couldn’t help but smile at her. He couldn’t help but press his forehead against hers. Caitlin’s reasoning for leaving was similar to his own a few months ago. It was reassuring seeing the smile on her face as he closed his eyes for a moment, taking in the fact they were sitting there together.
“If it means that we have to leave to do that then I’m with you. I want nothing more than to do that with you as well. I will do everything I can to keep you and whatever future we have safe. You know that.”
