Summary: Ryo Kano was never meant to be gentle.

For a long time, she believed her hands weren't made for beautiful things.

They couldn't heal, they were fragile and always cold, no matter how long she tried to warm them, they remained indestructible blocks of ice. They had punched Tommy H., had gripped a rifle, and with icy determination, had produced violence.

​But those hands were now stained with blood, burning like thorns as they tried to disinfect wounds that shouldn't have existed. Wounds she would feel guilty for forever.

Every lie, every attempt to pretend she was fine, had fallen apart right in front of him.

And Steve Harrington had witnessed every single second of that spectacular fall.
