I'm not unsatisfied with the recasted actor for Eustace Chapuys in The Mirror and The Light, I like them both, but I wonder whether am I the only one who feels Eustace Chapuys in Wolf Hall and The Mirror and The Light as two different people. The way of their talking or attitude feels somewhat ... very much changed?
Like, the actor from Wolf Hall feels like Eustace Chapuys and the actor from The Mirror and The Light feels like Eustace Chapuys ?
Well, I'm not doing a very good job at pulling out the thought in my mind am I ... But I can surely say Karim Kadjar resembled real Eustace Chapuys' portrair more than Mathieu Amarlic, which ... became the reason for my mind tilting a little bit towards the former.
Scenes in Wolf Hall
Oh, cherries. Now, how did I do that, I wonder.
Angel Wings
(Harry Norris you two-faced bastard)
Elusive, isn't he? Did you think of yourself as a special favourite?
"Anne sans tête."
Cromwell!
We shall dance.
This time for sure. England is ours. Crumb.
Do I? He didn't use to be, but then, he changed the company he keeps.
No! No! No! No woman would be regent. Me! Me!
Kissed it? What genius possessed her?
Isn't it sweet? For her little head.
He didn't look persuaded.
Cromwell's eyes looking at Jane Seymour in the deleted scene where she pulls down Mary's curtain are so endearing that it saddens me more
At last! My books from Blackwells are here! Now I have to think of an excuse to actively avoid them
For me The Mirror and The Light feels like Pandora's box. It will break my heart like things in Pandora's box, and the only difference is that I fear it because I precisely know what I will find when I open it.
There are many devastating and horrid historical facts that is involved with La Reine Margot, but for me the fact that Agrippa d'Aubigné's granddaughter was not only devouted Catholic but the second wife of Louis XIV shocked me the most.
Yes, that Louis XIV - the grandson of Henri IV who died by a fanatic's stab, the King who announced the Edict of Fontainbleau, aka the Revocation of the Edict of Nantes.
After almost 100 days finally FINALLY Wolf Hall & The Mirror and The Light dvd I ordered in last year's Eve Eve has arrived
Tbh it arrived yesterday but it feels so precious I haven't even unwrap it yet it feels like it will vanish when I open the keep case
what is the actual meaning of this scene
I wonder why I keep having problems with my international untrackable option orders ... I mean 77dollars for two books, this is no joke; or am I being too sensitive?
They held their hands
Oh my god Harry and Tom just held their hands.
I only watched the first episode of Detective Hole and I am already feeling compelled to write a Harry Hole/Tom Waaler fic
Dunno what to write but I just feel like I should write a fic.
Btw I am still not sure how to call them Hwaaler? TomHarry? WaalerHole?

Please somebody tell me that I am not the only one who is imagining something that will only happen in the world of ao3 every time - literally every time - when Tom and Harry encounter each other
I'm plotting a fic where Wolf Hall is a soulmate universe where people are born with the first name of their soulmate written in their random body part and get to know their surname within certain conditions - such as sex, having dinner together, etc.
I have a feeling that Anne will have the name just above her chest. The place where it can be seen when wearing square-neckline dresses - and she won't hesitate to expose this, because why would she? Of course, her name would be Henry, and she will boast about this, and Henry, who I have a feeling that he would be born without a name because the love of his life is the figure he sees when he sees a mirror, obviously, will be very much satisfied.
Until the situation changes. Like ... how can I say, I think Henry will say something like "We were meant to be, with Queen and me, Crum," when Anne is pregnant with Elizabeth, but switches his words when things go wrong "But Cromwell, Henry can be anyone; it can be Henry Percy, or Henry Norris, or just Henry the commoner wandering the streets of London. How can she be so sure about that, when I don't have a name of my own? There must have been some trickery, I see that now."
For Cromwell, I think he would be very sceptical over this whole destiny thing, but still, he would have a name: Thomas. Maybe because of Thomas Wolsey, or Thomas More, or both ... Either way, I have a feeling that he won't care very much about the matter of who his soulmate is.
One thing I am sure of is that Walter would have beaten him for this. That Cromwell is so self-centered and arrogant, so that he is born with his own name written on his body.

Well ... I just like the scenes of Cromwell eating sth.
