[Veah crawls through the vents leading to what seems to be a more secure spot, she peaks over and spots the "A block". She continues forward and finds another one of the rooms with a cool looking person]

[She whispers into the room from the vent]

[Athena glances around, confusion on his face as he tried to spot where the voice was coming from]

“H-Hello?? Who is that?? Where are you??”

[Veah giggles a little at the confusion]

"Hi!!! I'm Veah! I'm in the vents!"

[She pauses for a second]

"What's your name?]

“I’m.. phoenix.. why are you in the vents? Is that safe?”

[They’d hesitate slightly for a second]

“I’m not familiar with anyone being in the vents before-“

"You have such a cool name!!! and I'm hiding from the mean man! and I haven't seen anyone else in the vents so I'm the only one!"

“Oh.. yeah! That makes sense.. the mean man shouldn’t be able to get you if you stay up there..”

[ Phoenix nodded their head]

“Uh.. but.. i don’t think i understand why you are in the vents to start off with.. why is the mean man after you.. did you find a way to get out?”

[She nods as well]

"I'm looking for a friend! the man took them."

“Oh- well i hope you find them!! I don’t think i have many friends to loose..”

[They’d fidget with their shirt slightly]

"I hope so too! I know I will!"

[she pauses a second]

"Do you have any friends?"

“Uh.. not really! I don’t.. get to talk to very many people.. often.. so it’s nice to talk to you!”

"I'll be your friend!" {Her voice sounds happier}

[Calypso glanced up confused, before shaking her head. Assuming it’s another voice in her head as she leans back against the wall, knees tucked to her chest]

“I’m not listening.”

"Oh there is someone!! Hiii have you seen my friend???"

[Veah slightly taps onto the vents to make a bit more noise to them]

“Wha-“

[They never usually spoke like that. They usually were loud and.. didn’t make much sense..]

“Your friend..? Who.. who are you? Are you not in my head-?”

"no silly I'm in the vents, why would I be in your head?"

[Veah chuckles a little bit]

“…why would you be in the vents.. how.. how are you in the vents”

[She’d push herself up and glance around the ceiling of the room. Spinning around to try and see where this voice was coming from. Calypso had never really thought much about the vents.. until now..]

“Who are you? What do you want?”

"Cause I gotta keep away from the mean man duhhhh and I'm Veah! what's your name!"

“Uh.. I’m D03..? It’s.. it’s nice to meet you?”

[She answered, lowering herself back to her corner of the room]

"oh you have one of those weird names! Well it's nice to meet you D03!!

[Veah waves even if she knows D03 can't see it]

“Hey! Don’t call it weird! It’s not my real real name! Just the one i have to be called, vent girl”

[She snapped softly, crossing her arms and glaring at the wall]

“We all don’t get to live in the vents.”

"Well then what's your real name?? and I don't live in the vents cause I wanna, I'm looking for someone!"

“I’m not supposed to say.. but.. it’s calypso.. wait.. who are you trying to find?.. and i’m not sure how you’ll find them when you are constantly up there-“

"See that's a pretty name!! and my friend's name is Cari, they're really really cool"

[Veah pause for a few seconds]

"I found lots of people... and I know the mean man took Cari...."

“You aren’t going to find them if the mean man took him.”

[She’d answer softly but firmly]

“You should leave whilst you still can..”

"Well not if I have that attitude and I'm not leaving, not till I find them"

[Her voice grew more stern, Veah knew the risk of being here but she will not leave without Cari]
