Send (‿!‿) ԅ(≖‿≖ԅ) to grab my muse’s butt
I am not responsible for my muse’s actions.
c-ta knew damn well that he was better off leaving the raven to his own matters– in peace and quiet, just how he liked it. but c-ta, being himself, simply can’t trust a-ya on his own. whether they were speaking of rumours, or just sitting in absolute silence– it didn’t matter, as long as the brunet was there with his friend.
what would happen if c-ta wasn’t always with a-ya ? he could get hurt, or d-ne could do something…. he preferred to not even begin with possible interactions amongst the boy and b-ko. thoughts such as those scared c-ta.
with a small, nervous chuckle, the brunet stepped into the music room to approach the other.
“ yeah… sorry i was late. sensei needed extra work done, so i had to stay after. i see you…. went ahead without me, nonetheless. ah– anyways– where’s… d-ne and b-ko ? they’re usually here first, aren’t they ? “
A-ya slid off of the desk. H watched as the other approached him, yet showed little signs of being annoyed by it. C-ta was allowed to be close to him, he had grown used to his presence. It didn’t bother him much, but of course if he grew tired of it then A-ya would push him away.
Like he did with most people. A way of keeping himself safe, perhaps? Who knew, A-ya certainly didn’t know. He’d grown so used to deceiving others, including himself. Yet C-ta saw through it, did he? He didn’t know.
A-ya wasn’t intelligent on matters such as his himself. His own well being.
“Your guess is as good as mine.” A-ya replied, shrugging lazily. He acted as if he didn’t care, but he was curious. More so in reactions to his own rumors, but still.”I haven’t spread a rumor about B-ko today, I couldn’t think of anything decent.” A huff at this, oh how he hated his dull existence.
What a complete bother.
“I presumed you’d be up here already, I didn’t see you.”
“Are you worried there might be ghosts watching, us, hmm~?” He couldn’t help but tease him a bit, bringing up again the possibility of the paranormal, something that A-ya liked, at least. That might help his case.
A-ya’s eyes brightened at the idea of ghosts. Glancing around, his expression was both interested and fascinated. Oh, he hoped so.. The idea of ghosts being around.. That would be amazing!
Unsure if he wanted them to see C-ta being so affectionate thought.. Mm..
“I don’t think they’d care.”
It was a surprise to find that she wasn’t first today… It had gotten to the point where D-ne had expected that as part of her everyday routine. It was a bit refreshing to have this small change of pace, even if B-ko wasn’t around. Then again, though, the boy here was A-ya.
The way D-ne figured, unless there was some rumor involved, he wouldn’t be the one to make the first move. So, maybe it’d be fun to see which of them would go first. Thinking as such, D-ne settled down in a char not too far from him, and didn’t say a word.
However, she still needed something to do with herself, so, she pulled a broken mirror shard from her pocket. It was one of many, but it wasn’t something that she’d used lately. Her spinning skills had probably gotten rusty…
A-ya watched her, a spark of curiosity in ruby eyes. He glanced at the outside world, watching the lingering students. Perhaps, he looked to see if he could find the familiar looks of C-ta and B-ko. No, nothing. He huffed, turning to look at D-ne.
Should he be the one to speak first? A-ya wasn’t the best at social situations. C-ta was the one who taught him of it, being as his parents were not around enough to teach him of such skills. Never did question it, didn’t care enough to do so.
“So, heard anything recently?” He asked, staring outside. He wasn’t looking at her, never really could look at someone in the eyes. Was never the best at that.
E-noru smiled as their food arrived, thanking the waitress before she left.
{✘} —- “Here we go.~”
A-ya glanced up at this, an uninterested look in ruby eyes. Nodding in thanks, he looked at E-noru.
“Well, would you look at that.”
are we drawing headcanon body types now??
E-noru nodded, still blushing.
{✘} —- “I know…”
A-ya sighed softly, shrugging.
“Mm..”
{✘} —- “For agreeing to go out with me… I thought that you were more interested in C-ta or something…”
E-noru blushed and looked down at the table.
“I don’t think I’ve ever confirmed this..” A-ya pointed out softly, tapping on the table with his fingers. The noise was nice to his ears.
“I’ll admit it was out of nowhere..”
E-noru smiled at him, nodding and ordering ramen for both of them.
{✘} —- “Thank you A-ya…”
A-ya frowned at this, cocking his head. Why was he..?
“Why are you thanking me?”
E-noru shrugged, looking through the menu.
{✘} —- “Probably something small… I’m thinking some of their special Ramen here… It’s really good…”
A-ya looked at the menu, nodding slowly. Okay, fair enough.. It sounded nice, easy to eat and not too expensive..
“I think I’ll have that too..”
E-noru kept watching him, not wanting to look away from A-ya. But he did as soon as a waitress came by to give them menus.
{✘} —- “Ah. Thank you.”
A-ya mumbled a soft thanks, taking the menu as he examined it’s contents. Mm... It was an interesting menu, he’d admit that much.
“What are you getting?”
E-noru giggled. Smiling at him.
{✘} —- “Well, I know how you are with noises…”
A-ya stared at the table, avoiding eye contact even though he could feel it burning into him.. Damn E-noru..
“Considerate.”
E-noru held onto his hand, watching A-ya’s face and smiling.
{✘} —- “I thought you might like the quiet…”
“How thoughtful.” He noted, with a hint of amusement in his tone.
A-ya glanced away as the other watched him, feeling rather awkward.
{✘} —- “It is. It has good food too. And it’s nice and quiet.”
He kept smiling, holding out his hand so A-ya could hold onto it in case he’s nervous.
A-ya paused for a few moments, hesitantly taking E-noru’s hand. Far slimmer and thin. Just how A-ya was.
“I see that.”
E-noru pulled A-ya in, getting them a table easily. He smiled at A-ya and giggled.
{✘} —- “This is one of my favorite places… My uncle used to bring me here when I was younger…”
A-ya sat down on one of the chairs. It seemed rather quiet, but that’s okay. It meant he wouldn’t get nervous.
“It looks like a nice place.”
“Let us rewrite this tragedy.”
