"Let us rewrite this tragedy..." ((A shuuen no Shiori rp blog for the boys from shuuen. This means E-ki, E-noru, A-ya, C-ta, B-ka, D-suke and W-sensei. I follow back from a-noru))

A-ya hugged the other boy close. E-norus’s lips were soft on his face, but the couch was getting a little bit uncomfortable. His legs had fallen asleep and walking around would get a little harder now that they had.

“Hey, E-noru, would you, um…want to come to my room? The bed’ll be easier to lie down on…”

That…sounded terrible… Not to mention that the “gaze” that he’d been feeling was strongest in his room… He’d be fine, though, E-noru was here. A-ya was surprised at how much relief it brought him to think like that.

E-noru blushed a darker red, instantly getting the wrong idea and pushing it back to the back of his head. Nope not gonna think about that.

{✘} ---- “Sure. I’m kinda tired so I can use a nap.”

He smiled, nuzzling A-ya. He just loved him so much. It was weird how he had fallen for him so quickly. Oh well.

“It can, but at a cost…I’m guessing that I’m probably alone, now, except for you three. Surely you’ve heard the original story? It worked, just badly. I suspect now, that everything is the same as in there. The paw’s been used up, didn’t you notice? No wonder you died so long ago, E-ki.” Her remarks felt wrong, the words weren’t right for this body. Underneath everything, she was still herself.

D-ne felt it slipping, the perfect mask. She didn’t know how B-ko was with her brother… Or did she… She’d wished to be B-ko, but it wasn’t complete quite yet. She was still only pretending… It seemed like there was a box for herself, and a box for B-ko. If she opened B-ko’s box of memories, then she’d lose her own…

What an easy price to pay, she thought, as she made her wish really  come true.

A few deep breaths, and an all-too-long silence later, B-ko looked around, and saw her brother crying in D-suke’s arms. “B-ka! B-ka, what’s happened? Are you all right?!”

The three boys stared at her, what just happened? B-ka whimpered, still clinging to D-suke. Something was wrong. He didn’t understand. 

{✘} ---- “B-B-ko?... Y-You're not... Angry at me right?”

D-suke kept holding onto B-ka, not letting him go. That wasn’t B-ko. He knew that. And he didn’t want B-ka to get hurt. Well, emotionally hurt. He couldn’t be physically hurt anymore. D-suke laid his head on B-ka’s.

{✘} ---- “It’s okay, B-ka.”

“Secret!~~” D-ne played cute, even when her brother was a mess… Who was her brother now? Either way, she was sure they were all feeling pretty confused, so an answer would probably be best.

“No, it’s not really. Maybe you recognize this thing, though.” D-ne held the paw out to E-ki. “Just think about it for a bit, I’m sure you’ll get it. You’re not my brother’s favorite for no reason.”

“I decided to change reality a bit. Just enough to accommodate you three, back to the world of the living! Isn’t it wonderful?”

{✘} ---- “The monkey’s paw... Wait- That’s not going to work! Don’t you know how that thing works? It can’t revive the dead!”

E-ki looked over at the other two boys, B-ka didn’t look back at “B-ko” yet, he was still upset and clinging to D-suke. But something wasn’t right. B-ko would normally be all over her brother when he’s upset right? Well, that was ten years ago... 

{✘} ---- “You really shouldn’t use that...”

“Well then…” A-ya might’ve put a joke here if he was more confident, but no, he definitely wasn’t feeling it. It was probably just nerves. That was probably the reason why he was watching E-noru so closely now. Every move, however small, started to seem more important somehow?

A-ya sighed, before deciding on his words. “Looks like we’re getting closer to serious, huh?”

E-noru hugged A-ya, nuzzling him. He was actually kind of tired again. But he kept hugging him and ignoring his tiredness.

{✘} ---- “Yeah... I’m glad we are, honestly...”

He blushed, kissing A-ya’s cheek.

What a pain not to have any classes together with B-ko… Their meetings were either up to fate and chance, or strictly because D-ne had moved herself to be in B-ko’s way. The thing was, though, no matter how she moved, until the after-school bell rang, there were so many people…

It was a shame she had to work one at a time. It was so slow this way, but there was no other to do as such and be safe. To protect B-ko, too.

Today, there were two marks. An irritating boy B-ko had met for a confession of love during lunch hour, and there was another girl, with a ponytail, who was getting way too close to B-ko for her liking. B-ko turned him down like all the other’s and brushed the girl off, just as expected from B-ko.

Where were you, brother? Aren’t you hungry? I’ve got something good planned for you today…

D-ne loitered in the old school building, where both of their clubs met. Hopefully she could get a hold of him before the others did.

D-suke was the first to the old building of the film club. He needed to talk to his sister first obviously, to see if there was anyone she needed help with. He smiled as he walked into the occult club room and saw her. B-ka and E-ki told him that they would be there soon. They just needed help with some math questions and was talking to W-sensei about it.

{✘} ---- “Hey D-ne.”

He was munching on some chips, like he usually did when he was around people. He sat down on one of the desks, and smiled.

{✘} ---- “Did you need anything?”

“Mmhm.” A-ya couldn’t really say anything to C-ta. He was at a point where C-ta could do almost anything to him, and he couldn’t have really cared or minded. The worst was already over, anyway.

The worst had already happened, and C-ta was still like this. A bit more affection than he was used to, but this was..love… After everything, A-ya felt like a black hole, and as long as C-ta was going to give, A-ya’d take it in.

“Thank you, C-ta…” He’d never noticed it, no he’d never paid attention to it, but now, C-ta was being his guiding star…

C-ta held onto A-ya, as if he would die again if he let him go. Which he probably would. He never wanted to let A-ya go ever again.

{✘} ---- “You’re welcome, A-ya...”

C-ta smiled at him, playing with A-ya’s hair. Even if he’s going to be stuck here forever, at least he had A-ya.

Wiping the sweat off her forehead, A-no stared at the defeated boy laying on the ground, and after making sure he wasn’t going to get up anymore to go after her, she walked away slowly, since she had bruised her leg this time. This boy sure was good at kicking, but he wasn’t good enough to beat her.

She started to walk back to the school slowly as she had to go to the infirmary and soon enough someone would go looking for her because of this fight, but she gives no attention since this is already something natural, something everyone by now must have grow accostumed.

Once she had the bandages done, she walked towards the Film Club as everyone decided to hold a meeting today and she was already late due to her leg, ten minutes late, to be exact.

{ + “Hey, guys!” She greeted as she opened the door.

E-ki looked over and grinned, waving to A-no. She was late, which wasn’t normal for her. What was wrong?

{✘} ---- “Hey A-no! You’re late, are you alright? Usually you’re here before me.”

The other members looked over to see her as well, and B-ka seemed to notice her leg. He frowned giving her a worried look.

{✘} ---- “A-Are you okay? Your leg... Did you get hurt?”

“Of course not! I mean, it’s not like a bad luck streak like this ever happens again!” A-ya was having so much fun at his expense, it was actually kind of painfull.

“It’s just to make things more interesting, you know? Force you to pick and hone skills, and all that.”

{✘} ---- “Yeah. I see. But it’s still fun to see your face after a bad roll...”

He laughed a bit again. C-ta made the best faces, and gave the best reactions. He just wanted to see that more.

“Jealous?” E-noru reminded him of D-ne at the moment, which was probably one of the worst things that could happen. 

“You’re not good enough for A-ya. That’s all.”

He crossed his arms across his chest. Staring at the other.

C-ta had been in the mood to see A-ya that day, he walked up to A-ya’s door, knocking on it. He just wanted to see A-ya’s cute face again...

He smiled to himself, knocking again.

“Hi there, B-ka. It’s been a long while since I’ve seen you, brother…” D-ne played the part of B-ko, missing her brother, like that was the simplest thing to do. It really was. D-ne hadn’t been watching B-ko for all this time, without noticing every single thing about her.

All the wishes were gone, now, and D-ne was happy. For this one, single moment, she could clearly say that she was happy. She hoped her brother would think the same as things continued. This was “right.” It was also her revenge against her constant bad luck, to force everything to go her way.

Acting the part was as easy as breathing. B-ko’s mask wasn’t perfect for no reason.

B-ka teared up, shaking a bit. Was this his sister? She wasn’t acting like how he thought she would after not seeing him for ten years. Maybe she just didn’t care? D-suke frowned and hugged the small boy, letting him hide his face in his chest.

{✘} ---- “B-ka... It’s okay...”

B-ka started crying, and D-suke picked him up and hugged him. He didn’t want B-ka to be upset... E-ki stared at the girl, frowning a bit.

{✘} ---- “B-ko... Why did me and B-ka suddenly end up here?”

D-ne caught sight of her brother, and his gaze locked on his two boys. She smiled to herself, thinking that she probably had an easier time than he did. Even if her chosen one was B-ko, who was so incredibly popular, keeping track of two people would be too much for her. She didn’t need anyone else besides B-ko. D-ne would make sure that B-ko didn’t need anyone else, either.

I’m the only one for you, and until you realize that, I’ll keep along this path, no matter how long it takes.

D-ne was thankful for the fact that no one really paid attention to them. She and her brother weren’t popular, and didn’t stand out in any way. It was better like this. Easier to hide. Easier to get away with this. No one needed to know, especially not their targets.

They were the last people who needed to find out. D-ne hoped they never would. Thinking like this, and her eyes still glued to the small crowd around B-ko, D-ne made her marks, and went off to class.

Soon, dinner would be ready.

D-suke followed the two boys to class, eventually catching up to them and smiling. B-ka was oh so cute and E-ki was a mix of handsome and cute. Both were perfect. And he was greedy, so both of them will be his.

They smiled and started talking with him when he caught up. While he may have more to worry about than his sister, he was closer to getting them all to himself.

After class though, was when the club activities would happen. He didn’t have any targets today, but maybe his sister did. He sighed a bit and followed E-ki and B-ka again, munching on chips as he watched them.

Both of them were so so so cute...

“Yo, there, Big Brother. I’ve got three wishes left.” D-ne knew that really, only her outer appearance had changed. That was enough, though. D-ne knew enough to play the role of B-ko perfectly, without a single flaw. No one but her brother would be the wiser for it.

A sly smile played on her face as she held the paw, once more. “Promise that this’ll make you happy. Three is perfect. There were two other boys with you when you were alive, right? So… These wishes… I wish for my brother and his boyfriends to return to life. It wouldn’t do if you just left me after all that I did to get you back, brother.”

Oh that wasn’t going to end well. The monkey’s paw doesn’t work like that. They have been dead for 10 years. So the bodies that show up will more than likely just be fakes. That’s all they can be.

{✘} ---- “I- I don’t think that’s a good idea...”

When the three cracks sounded, E-ki and B-ka’s ghosts appeared in the room, both of them seeming confused, but... No bodies.

{✘} ---- “Sister?”

A-ya didn’t really know what to do, now that he was in this situation, but E-noru didn’t move, so neither did he… So he sat like that for who knew how long, before he needed to pull away. For what seemed like the millionth time that night, A-ya felt he couldn’t meet E-noru’s eyes.

“That was my first kiss, you know.”

E-noru eventually pulled away as well and didn’t look at A-ya. He almost didn’t believe that had actually happened. He had A-ya’s first kiss and he didn’t even mean for that to happen! His face was a dark red and he just stared at the wall.

{✘} ---- “That was mine too...”

C-ta’s shoulder worked well enough as a makeshift pillow that before long, the noise and movement of the subway train had lulled him into a nap. Not that A-ya was dreaming about anything in particular…

Or…light haired boys in dresses?

What kind of dream was this? He’d expected occult-related dream nonsense, not something coherent…

E-noru soon ended up falling asleep as well, and C-ta decided to stay awake to wake them up when they ended up getting to their destination. When they got close, he gently shook the two boys awake.

He smiled a bit, they were both so cute when they were asleep.
