Pomni huffed before reaching to grip him by the front of his shirt. Then, she firmly but gently tugged him down to be closer to eye level with her.

"Who said it was talk?" She breathed, the plane of her face where her nose would be lightly brushing against his nose.

Then, she paused, slightly loosening her grip on his shirt to laugh slightly.

"Too much?"

"Pfft no... it was adorable" He leaned foreward to bump his forehead to hers, snickering at how fast she went from in charge to shy at the turn of a dime. "I like bold Pomni, you'll never be too much for me..annnd I am still smoochless~"

A giggle bubbled past her lips as Percy leaned closer to lightly bump his forehead to hers.

"You're right. You are. Guess I should fix that...~"

With that, Pomni finally pressed her lips to his. Her left hand returned to its original grip on his shirt. But the right released to reach up and cradle his jaw.

Smooch achieved?

A purr escaped him as he returned the kiss, leaning into her hands and relaxing. Smooch Achieved~ Good to see her really coming out of her shell and taking what she wanted nowadays! He wrapped his arms around her, and his tail soon coiled around her as well~

"Oh? Lots of talk for such a small Jester~" He smirks teasingly, sticking his tongue out.

Once they were a good ways away, Joshua rubbed the bridge of his nose. On the one hand, Zim was very smart, he was dangerous and crafty...and on the other hand..the other was attending school and green in color. "I've got a new plant in my garden, I wanted to get your thoughts on it if you had a moment..." He'd find a good time to point out that humans were typically not green.

"... Caine, for f[pop!]sake...!" Pomni grumbled.

A rockslide. One that left a wall that split the group in two. Probably to force an exploration of both routes of this mountain trail.

Frankly, she forgot why they were scaling this mountain in the first place. Some sort of McGuffin or something? Didn't Ragatha say this was for keeping them sane or something? How does this crap help with that?

"Are you guys okay over there?" came Gangle's voice from the other side."

"Yeah, I think I'm fine?" Pomni responded before turning towards the others with her.

Jax and Percy.

"Whadabout you two? All good?"

"Fine on my end," Jax replied simply.

Percy was distracted by something that had gotten uncovered during the rockslide, and he moved to kneel down and rifle through the rocks, taking out a shiny, round stone that resembled an eyeball. The pupil was a red gemstone. "I'm fine guys, AND I think I found ONE of the Mcuffins~" He said cheerfully, holding up the stone. "Tada~ I bet the other one's on the other side and we need to bring them together~" Percy always seemed to get really involved in the adventures-

… Well at least one of them was enjoying this adventure…

“Good find, Percy,” Pomni piped up.

One less thing to worry about. God, though, what is with Caine and eyes?!

Usually now would be the time for Jax to snatch it up and toss it over the ledge. But that hadn't happened. Instead, he was just off to the side of Percy, grinning neutrally.

For whatever reason, Percy was immune to such shenanigans. Maybe because Jax had a different flavor of mischief for him specifically. Why? Who knows-

“Oh! You found one?” Ragatha called from the other side, “Maybe the one on this side will be an easy find too! We’ll meet you guys up top, okay?”

“... After we pull Ragatha out from under the rocks…” Gangle added softly.

“Will you guys be alright?” Ragatha continued.

Percy tossed it up, catching it and tucking it into his pocket, giving Pomni a soft grin and a wink. "Heh Thanks Pompom~ " Ears twitching towards the voice and cupped a hand around the side of his mouth 'Yeah we found one! I think it should be somewhere around you! We'll be fine! We'll meet you at the top of the mountain, if you can't get out I'll come back and try to get you out okay?" Poor Ragatha, thank goodness she couldn't really feel a ton of pain. "Alright now let's head to the top" a shrug . "Maybe we'll find more cool treasure on the way, Caine knows I love treasure adventures~"

... It might also be that they were both kindred spirits, Pomni was starting to think.

"Thank you, Percy!" came Ragatha's response.

Pomni grimaced as Jax snickered slightly.

How did she even-

"Right! Sounds like a plan. Let's keep a look out!"

Pomni trotted down the path. Jax simply went at Able's pace, hands casually resting in his overalls pockets.

"... I just realized something," Pomni piped up, "You guys don't think there are bears here, do you...?"

"Knowing Caine, there's probably worse," Jax grinned, eliciting Pomni to pull her cap over her face.

"Nnnnoooo...!"

Listen, hiking was never her thing as is (city slicker that she is) and now the possibility of running into something dangerous. Oh she hated that-

"Naw, I've discussed ecology and habitat to Caine, this is a really rocky mountain with sparse forests, bears wouldn't be here" He said confidently, tail swishing behind him as he walked along the path. "We're more likely to run into Bobcats and wolves before bears, and wolves would be discouraged cuz we're a group..with Bobcats they're a bit feisty but honestly Jax and I could easily fight one off...I could at any rate" A hand wave like it was nothing. "No worries Pompadore~ I'll be the wild life wilderness expert eh~?"

"Booooo... Spoil sport..." Jax teased lightly, casually bumping him.

So much for that method of picking on her. He'll have to think of something else.

So... No bears, but... Wolves and bobcats. Animals that are far less chill. And probably way faster.

Pomni laughed nervously, slowing her pace until she was at Percy's other side. At which she kept very close to his pace.

"Sounds good. I'll just... Keep a look out. From here."

Close to his side. Practically glued to him.

... Should she get a stick just in case.

"Welp. Guess I'm carrying. As per usual," Jax said casually, going only a few steps ahead of the other two.

"... Since when?" Pomni asked, arching her brow.

Percy snickered and returned the bump~ "Hey you've gotta be more creative than that ~ Can't always go for that low hanging fruit Jax~" As they walked he realized the smaller jester was now very close to his side, and following his pace. "Oh..~ Heh sure no worries..~" He wrapped an arm around her shoulder, before scoffing. "Carrying what? Get back here you dingus" Reaching his other hand to tug the rabbit back by the overal strap. "No going too far ahead, stick together~"

Ragatha hesitated, nervously looking at Kinger.

He said Caine made this for him. Was this a genuine invitation, or a test?

Kinger simply nodded, shuffling through the threshold to prove it.

He uh… quickly found this acting as living proof method was the quickest and easiest way to coax her to… well, practically everything so far. Girl seemed afraid to so much as step wrong.

Ragatha nervously padded in after Kinger, watching him pull a chair to this doll like figure, Cashmere’s, side before sitting in one of the two chairs at his other side.

“Yeah, he called it an inhouse adventure.”

Implying there would be times where this Caine guy would take them outside of the grounds for some of these… odd games… Would they get dangerous?

“It was uh… hide and seek with Disappearing Guy I think…?” she continued as Kinger pulled what appeared to be an unfinished wood carving.

The second chair had an embroidery kit with an unfinished embroidery beneath.

Caine… implied there used to be more humans, didn't he…?

But… hasn't it been hammered home so far that there wasn't a way to leave…?

“I-I’m Ragatha!" she added hastily.

It… still felt a little weird using it, but it was all she had right now.

" It's… nice to meet you, Cashmere!”

"He encourages my creativity, I help him when he needs someone to bounce ideas off of, we're both creatives and artists in our own right~ So we understand each other~" Sort of..Caine had his moments that Cashmere couldn't connect with him, but those had been growing fewer and farther between the longer he was here. "Oh that adventure is fun~ It's probably why he didn't take me with you, knows I've done it before.." Cashmere shook his head softly "...It's nice to meet you Ragatha, come and have a seat, do you like to make things? As you can see I like to weave and design clothing..Kinger's a carver, it keeps his hands busy~"

Kinger furrowed his brows slightly.

Had... they done that one before...? Kinger thought he would have remembered... Disappearing Guy was familiar, but...

He stared pensively down at the clump of wood in his hand, sifting through his memories...

Ragatha nodded before gingerly sitting in the chair Kinger had pulled out for her, smoothing out her skirt on her lap before resting her hands on it.

"Oh, yeah... I sew and knit..."

That's when Kinger returned back to the present.

"Oh. I got it," said Kinger, sending his free disembodied hand for the nearest shelf.

Ragatha rubbed one thumb over the other for a moment as Kinger searched. Weighing pros and cons for a moment.

"So... Are you and Caine are friends...?" she asked softly, nervous.

"We've done a similar adventure with disappearing guy" He assured Kinger "It wasn't QUITE hide and seek but it was very similar..and very...dirty.." He wrinkled his nose lightly.. Watching the other's hands float away to the shelf... " It will never not be freaky when you do that" He added with a chuckle, glancing at Ragatha. "I...I do suppose we are~ He's very kind to me, and appreciates my imput, he understands I'm driven to be creative like he is.. so we have that in common~?"

There was a cartoony chomp sound effect as Bubble’s teeth bit on empty air and clacked together.

Bubble didn't immediately respond to the fact the plant disappeared, nor the curt greeting from Sterling. He was slooowly rolling back up right instead. Seeming almost frozen otherwise. Then-

“Hiiiii!” he chimed, floating over to Sterling.

He looked over his shoulder.

“Whatcha doing?”

No, the mischief is not over, he's just taking the moment to be nosy.

Sterling held up what he was doing"There are small tiny Glonks forming on this plant, I'm trying to carefully remove them so they can be returned to the Glonk Queen, as she knows all her children " The pretty plant had small, random pixel'y shapes clinging to the leaf that Joshua was very carefuly removing with a sharp blade to make clean cuts on the plants that could heal easier. " Thought they were flowers at first, or some sort of parasite, but no, just little lost glonks..."

Starter Call for Able

First day in the circus, after her first adventure, and her new friend, Kinger, had taken to showing Ragatha around while their host, Caine, was off planning the next adventure. She wasn't complaining. She was hesitant to leave Kinger's side. One misstep felt... dangerous. So she thought her best bet was just to follow the lead of the one that'd been here far longer than her, knew the rules and what was allowed.

She swore she felt eyes burning through her as she scurried by Kinger's side.

Though, she realized as they approached the next room, she heard a... humming? Whirring? Some sort of movement.

They stopped as he opened the door.

"And this is the craft room."

Within there were tables and stations scattered around. But the one most apparent was what appeared to be a sewing station, a doll like figure at the wheel.

That explained what she'd been hearing.

"Cashmere," Kinger called in, "We... have a new arrival here."

The humming and whirrling sounds only ceased when Cashmere heard his name being spoken. Every which way did he resemble a china doll, fancy light purple patterns, golden joints, and perfectly slicked back purple iridescent hair. "Oh well hello there new arrival~ Have you gone on an adventure yet? Caine loves to show new people the things he can make, and I find him quite creative~" He gestured at the craft room. "He actually made this for me so I could create too~ Come in and have a seat~"
