"Thanks for being so understanding. I know this entire situation completely sucks for you, and not everyone would be so understanding about it," Velvette said, letting out a sigh, but she managed a smile. "I can tell you're a good friend to Vox, and I look forward to doing business with you in the future! I just hope your company can tell I'm on your side and not the one who caused this." The elevator came to a stop on the ground floor and she mentally prepared herself, crossing her arms and walking forward.
Meanwhile, Vox ushered them inside with a confident smile, despite half worrying he'd learn it was Valentino on the other end. How dark it was inside currently didn't really help matters, but the familiar setting still did reassure him some.
He spoke to Thornara. "I thank you for that. I understand it can't be easy when you clearly care so much about your sister." He never had any siblings, so it wasn't a feeling he could relate to, but it was one he respected. His eyes widened as the elevator stopped and the doors opened. "It would seem you were correct, and of course! Velvette would never leave me hanging if she knew." He knew he could trust her at least.
Velvette led Rosa out of the elevator, looking over the company Vox was with. Her eyes immediately landed on Dystrial for a good few moments, eyes narrowing. She knew very well he did not do well with strangers, but especially those percieved as men. She'd be keeping an eye on that one. She liked the vibes of the other though, offering them both a wave. It was a tired one considering the late hour, but she couldn't sleep until Vox was safe in his own body again, then they could both sleep this off. She knew Vox would do the same for her.
"Welcome to the Vee tower. Can we try and get this sorted now? Any idea what caused it?" With the clap of her hands, the lights on that floor came to life so they could properly see each other. It was magic, so it only reacted to her or Vox, more accurately, his body in this case. She was already preparing to have to fix it herself, going over some of the spells and potions she knew in her head that might be of some use. She'd need to be careful or else there'd be side affects, like still being able to physically feel what the other was feeling, or being able to see through the other's eyes. Rosa seemed like a good friend, but not that good of a friend at this juncture.
"Other than the obvious body switching, have you felt any other symptoms? I've been with Rosa this whole time, and she seems fine outside of the obvious."
Vox shivered. "Other than exhaustion? Not really." He'd been avoiding it, but he properly took himself in, blushing at the pajamas he was wearing. "Oh right. I forgot I was in...that," he said, eyeing his own body. It was weird, seeing it standing there with someone else in it.
"Sorry, I thought you'd want to get this over with as soon as possible." That was half the truth. She knew for a fact Vox wasn't going to get Rosa all prettied up to come to the Vee tower, so it would be unfair to expect Rosa to do the same for Vox. Plus, there was no way Vox would want her to change in his body.
"That much is true." Vox walked over and carefully put his hand on his...Rosa's shoulder to see if there was any change. He made a face when nothing happened. "This is going to be more complicated than we thought."
