Eddie Gluskin with a Short, Quiet Fem S/O
He loves the height of you for varying reasons. Truly, he'd always envisioned his wife to be shorter than he; preferably short enough for her to rest her head upon his chest and for him to tuck her pretty little head beneath his chin. It truly makes the dancing easier, and if there's one thing Mr Gluskin loves, it's waltzing you around the room like you're a darling princess and he the dashing noble whom has come to attempt courtship.
But also it makes you easier to lug around. He adores carrying you in general; constantly wanting to "carry you over the threshold" of every room, always wanting to feel your little body in his arms. It's also a great deterrent to stop the variants from looking at you -- they don't want to upset the groom, oh no, and touching his prized wife is an express ticket straight to the afterlife.
Loves your quiet nature. He fills the silence with his own voice, showering you with praise and singing softly in your presence. At first, he gladly filled all of the silence, telling you stories about how your lives would be -- about the pretty picket fence and the darling little house and your wonderful future children, but... He will begin to prompt you into conversation after a short time of knowing you.
"You're not... Scared of me, are you my love?" He'll whisper, eyes dark. "You know I'd never harm you; not like..."
Once he learns that you are in fact, just quiet because that's who you are, he won't guilt trip you like that again.
"The most quiet of birds always have the most enchanting song. Oh, I do love it when you show it to me, my darling."
Even the smallest of words that leave your mouth leave him with butterflies. He begins to view the small amounts of conversation you have as priceless; as beautiful snippets of things you can reward him with. Loves those hushed few whispers you save for him, because they mean oh so much more than you can ever imagine.
Does, however, require you to frequently tell you that you love him. If you haven't said it in a while or been extra quiet lately, he might sidle up to you, softly running his hands over your shoulders, pressing the gentlest of kisses to your skin, before he'll look up to you from beneath his lashes and ask, "darling... you... you do love me, don't you?" He just gets worried when he hasn't been reminded in a while. Worries you've fallen out of love. Worried you hate him.
