now, i finally decided to officially move maerose to my multi-muse. it’s easier for me to manage a single blog than switching between several single muse blogs. maybe one day, i will move her back to this blog but for now, i would be absolutely delighted to see you over @viividpurity ! i would honestly love to continue writing with everyone or maybe even start writing with you over there. <3

He’d be replaced by Satan only knew and things might only get worse. “I know what I’m doing, Mae. I’ve handled him since we were in school.” Well she’d mostly handled him. There had been the minor hiccup of him marrying Constance and the whole Meredith incident.

Zelda blinked. Marry Mae? She couldn’t. “The wedding’s in a week. I can’t exactly back out of it, Mae. The Anti-Pope himself is coming to perform the ceremony.” That was an honor even Zelda had never dreamed of for herself. “You know better than to think I’d let Faustus have his ear where matters of doctrine are concerned. He’ll want me there anyway.”

“I do not doubt your ability to deal with him. I know you are far more capable than him, more powerful. But Faustus is a cunning man if he wants to be.” A rare occasion, true. But still, Mae worried about Zelda, worried about what would happen once she gave him her hand in marriage. Nevermind the jealousy --- that, she could handle. “He is not a boy anymore, Zelda.” Though whom was she telling anyway? If anyone would know, she would guess it was her.

Yet, Mae’s features remained stern once the proposal rolled from her tongue. “I am more than serious about it, Zelda. Marry me. You want the Anti-Pope to perform the ceremony? I don’t see why he couldn’t do it for anyone else.” Well, she could, but then again, she wasn’t just anyone either. “Please think about it.” I’m only doing this to protect you, Maerose thought, though she was sure her facial expression gave a hint on what she was thinking in this very moment.

i wanna leave a quick update: i haven’t been feeling well the past few days, i’m super stressed, cannot remember a single thing, and honestly, it’s so hard to focus. hence i’ve been hiding on my multi (where you can catch me rn, i wouldn’t mind writing mae over there either; #viividpurity ). i’m in the middle of my preparations for my finals and i am just super super nervous and i am lacking a lot of confidence (which hasn’t been the case for the last three years tbh). 

anyway, catch me on my multi or on dcord for the time being. i’ll be happy to write mae on both if you wanna write with me/her. (feel free to ask for my other muses as well)
