OH YEAH. I forgot tumblr has that chat thingy. Fuck it, I’ll rp on here too if you use the messenger!
OOC
So I’ve pretty much abandoned this RP account for now. I’ll keep it in existance as maybe when the next new episodes come out I’ll be into it (I was in the middle of moving during the last ones so I didn’t have an opportunity to get on). So where did I go? Colorado! My fiance and I moved to Denver, Colorado, just miles away from where South Park would exist, and only 15 minutes away from Casa Bonita! My college, RMCAD, is actually literally next to Casa Bonita and as a gigantic South Park nerd it makes me geek out everytime I see the spire on it. Still haven’t made a visit though, but will likely drag my fiance there when he gets back home from visiting family (we were worried because it’s in a sketchy area but east colfax is not as scary as west colfax is). Lemme tell you guys, it’s kinda trippy moving here after watching the show since i was 8 and being so immersed in the series because I see SO many similarities between episodes and here, or current events and how they especially look here. Like this past season with SoDoSoPa? So fucking spot on. Like everything. I can’t remember everything but it does make me go “Whoa i understand now” when I see it or experience it. So I likely won’t be roleplaying Eric for awhile, not unless someone wants to do one-on-one on skype or something, but I wanted to leave this note up so people who wondered what happened to me know..I moved! I started getting ready for it, and then we up and moved from NY to Colorado! It was a four day drive which sucked ass. but god it’s beautiful here.
Dyed my hair again.
Wow what a surprise. You gonna go all lesbo too Wendy?
So, that Fallout 4 character creation looks pretty neat
when you go to actually do your college work that you’ve put off for 3 weeks and your internet limit has been met
my internet will be slower than dial up for 2 more days?????????
that will make it 4 weeks since I’ve submitted anything
I hope they don’t kick me out of the course
Any way you can just like...Bring your computer to a place with beter internet?
So is PC Principal Jake from State Farm or what
I seriously have no idea what’s actually going on. Ads went too far? People avoiding ads so much they made the ads people?
Scary thing is it could happen man. The ad industry is kinda scary.
I’m back
Suck my dick if you aren’t happy about i.
my two beautiful trans daughters, steven universe and finn mertens, and my handsome trans son, morty smith, all of which i will always cherish and support
Are you actually serious?
I’m back, bitches
and I don’t recognize any of you.
Yeah and the episodes with gays depict them as fae sex-addicts (Mr. Slave and Mr. Garrison to an extent). It’s satire.
South Park shaped my views of the world. I have been watching it since I was eight years old. If their depictions of gays, religion, and other...
I'm not your buddy, friend
Perhaps it just goes to show that I still don't understand what it feels like to be trans either, and how would I? I don't understand completely because I don't go through those struggles aside from with my family whom I hide god-damn everythng frm because of how judgemental they are.
I regretted my reply to you after I hit send and my computer decided to be garbage and not let me retract it (i.e. delete it) so I apologize if I offended you.
Perhaps it's a difference in where we live that makes my perception of how people would see this episode the way it is, however. People in my area are pretty accepting and basically "oh you're x? that's cool, check out this video game" how it should be. The dumbest thing I've heard someone say here was asking a lesbian if she looked in a mirror and found herself hot because she's a girl, which you can imagine was (mostly harmless) stupidity and not bigotism.
I am more forgiving of people being stupid and accidentally offensive than I am people being callous and aggressively hurtful. Maybe it's easy for me to say "take it in stride, joke back, and then educate them" but not everyone has that ability, that confidence, or that chance to do so.
So again I do apologize, it was a bit of a 'heat of the moment' kinda response and well that's no excuse for me being a douche.
This episode gave me a new headcanon for Butters as Marjorine.
can’t wait to go to art school tomorrow, where everyone knows that i’m both a huge fan of south park as well as a transgender individual and i get BOMBARDED with people saying “HEY SUNNY WASN’T THAT EPISODE LAST NIGHT SOOOO FUNNY? NOW I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND WHAT IT’S LIKE TO BE TRANSGENDER” when...
Yeah and the episodes with gays depict them as fae sex-addicts (Mr. Slave and Mr. Garrison to an extent). It's satire. South Park shaped my views of the world. I have been watching it since I was eight years old. If their depictions of gays, religion, and other 'offensive' topics didn't turn me into a racist, homphobi bigot and rather shaped me into someone who strives for human rights and equality for everyone then I'm pretty sure this episode will do more good than it will harm. I also don't think people will bombard you that much. As the episode said, most 'normal people don't care.' so unless you make it about you I don't think anone will act that way. They may be curious of your opinion of the episode but I doubt they'll claim to understand you and your struggles because of it. Maybe they'll understand your viewpoint more, however.
Idk. I'm just sick of the backlash this episode created before it evn aired, and now that it has I truly think it was a successful episode in every sense of the word.
Fucking perfect. Matt and Trey displayed perfectly why the way SJWs act is harmful, covered people who fake being transgendered for their own means (whether it was intended or not) and once again preached tolerance. I also loooved the continuity from last week as well as the commentary on the backlash they recieved for their portrayal of Lorde last week.
Update, 1:11 p.m.: Chipotle ownership responded to our inquiry, saying it expects to reopen the location soon:
Thank you for taking the time to write us about our Penn State University restaurant. Unfortunately we had to close this location after a few employees quit, locking out a majority...
This is what working in a restaurant IS. Some people would KILL for that amount of work right now. Corporate is not responsible for hiring people to a single location, the managers are. Unless corporate gav them a TINY hours budget (which happened at some of my previous jobs and INDEED made the work more like slavework because of it) then it's got noting to do with Chitotle itsself.
That being said one of our busy seasons just ended at work. Some of my coworkers had been working 50 hour weeks at just this one job because of how busy we were, and we were deently staffed save for one department that had a couple workers quit (dishwashing. Dishwashing sucks.) This isn't unusual of a popular restaurant. If they went into a successful restaurant that wasn't corporate owned they'd see much of the same.
Seriously sounds more like hey're looking a gifthorse in the mouth. After all, no one forced them to work, as evienced by the fact that they quit. If they needd Corporate's hep so badly though a strike would'e been more effectie and would've saved tem thei job when they did eventualy step in.
So y'all remember that group I said to join earlier? Don't. Cause I got kicked out for "making people uncomfortable" Making my own group with hookers and blackjack
