OK. I just watched Cinderella 2021 and I loved it? The costumes were all over the place and there was no period accuracy. But so what? I watched it for the entertainment! Not a history lesson!! And I loved that new take from the old fairytale? That scene where she said she don't wanna choose the prince if that means giving up herself? FABULOUS!! Idk why ppl dislike it. It was fun. It was beautiful.

I loved the diversity among the princesses. The bro moments. Those princess Gwen moments. And queen Tatiana being so awesome!! And the prince? WOW. If I have to pick between the old one, where a girl was rescued, and this one, where a girl followed her dreams, I'd pick this one.

Also the PRINCE!!!

i keep seeing so much negativity for the new cinderella movie but i freaking loved it?? like jeez yall not everything has to be perfect groundbreaking cinema sometimes it's enough that you're just grinning the whole time you're watching the movie!!! i could not stop smiling it was so fun and sometimes we just need a happy ending yknow
