Hello friends! My name is Nanari Ququri, and I'm challenging myself to walk across the entire star!

This blog is where I'll track my progress, share screenshots, and even reblog events I plan to attend!

You can find me over on the Crystal data center. Malboro is my home, and it's where I do most of my walking, but you may also find me over on Mateus & Balmung. Depends on the day! Feel free to wave if you see me, and walk beside me a while if you'd like! I wouldn't mind the company. <3

Nanari is back on the road!

Thank you to @withstile for reminding me I needed to get back to his journey. Now's the perfect time to since it's lull time and the walks @acrossetheirys have come to a close for the year.

To celebrate, I got the ol' boy some new glasses and hair. I think they fit him quite well! <3

You'll see him around Malboro more often now, especially during the night when I need something slow to wind down with.

Good King Moogle Mog lays slain thanks to some very kind friends from Party Finder. (Whom I noticed were both from Zalera! Love my hometown heroes. <3)

The queue was abysmal today seeing as it's early on a weekday, so in case you happen to see this, thank you to the two friends who helped me unsync that! Y'all allowed me to get back on the road quicker! xD

Speaking of parties, Nanari has a certain Alliance Raid coming up. Mayhap some of you would be interested in joining for his foray into the Crystal Tower?

Not only is Nanari such a lovely and loveable character, but the whole premise of the blog is also (and this is not a word I use often) adorable. If you're lucky enough to see Nanari walking across the star (usually on Malboro, on the Crystal Data Centre) then he would probably welcome an encouraging wave, or maybe even some company for part of his epic journey.

I swear, this challenge has just become free therapy at this point. If ever a day rolls around where I only want to exist as a consciousness and not a person, I hop on Nanari, and suddenly all I wish to do is enjoy the moment. It's silly, saying a walk in a game can be healing, but if it works, it works.

Also ngl, starting to think I've become some sort of cryptid or something. I keep picking up friends. xD

If you want to walk with me, I should be around heading back to Limsa after doing a bit of MSQ to collect more Postmoogle quests! (Or I might do some Hildibrand, who knows. If I'm not in Limsa, I'm in Ul'dah/Thanalan :3c)

I have an absolutely (lovely) deranged friend who has been playing through FF14 aetheryte-less. In the beginning, since one of our friends pestered her to grab her aetherytes, out of spite she made the decision she will go through the entirety of the game WITHOUT AETHERYTES. She's in Shadowbringers now. She doesn't even have the teleportation menu UNLOCKED. She takes public transport wherever possible. If that's not an option, she walks. There are quests that have you attune to aetherytes, but these haven't unlocked the teleportation menu for her. When she dies, she spawns back in Uldah which is a huge bother, but because her spite is more important to her than her time, she will LITERALLY WALK TO A DIFFERENT WORLD INSTEAD OF JUST UNLOCKING THE TELEPORTATION FEATURE.

My friend saw you while we were getting ready to continue doing roulette's and we dropped everything entirely to hang out for a bit. Was fun meeting and walking with you, if only for a short while! Just met a lovely bunch of people over on Mateus tonight. I forgot to get their names, but if you guys end up seeing this, thank you for giving my old man some company on his first night back! You all were a joy to walk with (and watch the foggy sunrise with). <3

We'll be sure to update you with a picture as soon as Nanari gets his apartment so I can add those dolls to it. <3

Time for more silly poetry! This time celebrating the curious explorer Nanari Ququri of @hikinghydaelyn.

One of the more unique FFXIV blogs on Tumblr, @hikinghydaelyn follows the adventures of Nanari, as he endeavours to walk his way across the entire star! You might spot Nanari on the Malboro Data Centre, or occasionally on Mateus or Balmung, so if you do then please give him some encouragement along the way.

With some enchanting screenshots and great writing, I think this is a blog that deserves a lot more followers. You may already be familiar with the creator's work on @humblemooncat, and I can promise this is equally excellent, albeit quite different. If you're not already following then I recommend that you do so!

Quick cute lore post since I did some shopping for Nanari on Ki'to.

Meet Nanari's stalwart traveling companion, Ramuh. His sons named him after reading about the primal in their father's notes and books (Primals/Eikons & their respective beast tribes being his field of study and topic of his archon's thesis). They liked that he was said to have a reeeeeally long beard.

When Nanari went to leave for his travels, the two boys snuck Ramuh into their father's backpack, having taught him to sit very still for a while until he heard the bells of departure. He guesses they just wanted him to have a bit of home with him, and every time he sees Ramuh hopping at his side, he's reminded of the mischievous little scholars back home.

This is the minion Nanari will be traveling with from now on. He is a good boy, and is very fond of treats, so feel free to pet or feed him if you see me tootin' along on my journey. o/

Once I return home from the movies today, we're getting back to Post-ARR!

Of course, before that we'll be hitting up the All Saints Wake festivities. Nanari's been practicing his culinary skills, so if you find him there, he might just give you a little goodie bag of treats! <3

And later on you'll find him at the Cracked Cluster on Mateus, as we'll be attending the costume party tonight! Come join us, it's sure to be a fun time!
