I remember weeks before the ceremony. I and all the vendors knew there was a chance of rain that day of Elmer and Rumee's wedding. We talked about a Plan B of doing it inside one of the ballrooms. Yes! That was the safe version. Elmer mentioned to me the whole reason they booked this venue was for the view, nature, and ambiance of the garden. We'd go back and forth looking at weather apps debating should we or should we not. It was like looking at the stock market as prices go up and down. Well, in the end, it did rain. Soon after, everyone walked inside and we continued the night with drinks and more drinks. That's right! Throughout the whole process, Rumee was quite stressed out. I don't blame her. It's a new experience and she wants it to turn out beautiful. She was thinking about things from different angles. I told her that she had an MVP team and they know how to handle the event even if something arises. Elmer just wanted Rumee to be happy and comfortable that night. So my strategy was to take care of her. We take care of her, then she's happy. If she's happy, Elmer's happy. Thus, I'm happy. She doesn't look she's having fun. But trust me. TRUST ME! She's having the time of her life. All guests come to weddings with a brick wall protecting them. No one wants to look foolish. No one wants to be embarrassed. It takes time to organically break their walls. Everyone in the room got a good laugh from this moment. I gave this beautiful woman a hug afterwards.
