Terezi rolls her eyes and follows him into the car, coaxing Lemonsnout into the back seat. “What? It’s not like I insulted her personality or looks! It’s just a name!” She gets herself comfortable and buckles up, leaning to the backseat so she can love on Lemonsnout.

He rolls is eyes, driving for the school.He parked, getting out and opening the door for her anyway. The trainer got out, calling the dog out of the car and following them up to terezis room as she let the dog get familiar with the area.

"Surprises are stupid. This is stupid. You’re stupid." he informed him firmly, moping the entire trip and messing with the radio and other buttons in his car, like a distracted two year old, unable to remain occupied by one thing for more than a few minutes. 

  He let himself be guided along when they finally arrived at their destination, still scowling. “Now will you tell me where we are?”

  He narrowed his eyes, suspicious. “Umm… yesss? Why? Where the hell are we going?” he asked, frowning a bit as he settled down in the car, frowning ferociously in Eridan’s direction.

"its a surprise" he drove off for the pound. He finally parked after ten minuets,going around and helping im out. He lead him inside, going into the back area where he had gotten terezi her dog, the trainers already there with them, seeing as he had asked early .

  Terezi snorts at the slight pain in the trainer’s voice about his name being Conner, easily sliding her finger over the Braille and pushing in her initials and signature where needed. Being the daughter of a well-known lawyer and going into the business herself, she knows nearly everything there is to know about contracts. “Well I do, so my dog’s name is totally Lemonsnout now. Conner’s just boring.” She grins as she says this, then goes back to her new dog, scratching behind his ears. “What next, Conner?”

  Terezi laughs and rolls her eyes, knowing they wouldn’t need someone licensed to be able to see her clear blindness, but she doesn’t bring that up. Instead she follows after the trainer, making a face at the name. “Lemonsnout. That’s his new name. Conner’s lame.”

" I.. see.. well your doctor checks out, if you could just read this and sign at the bottom " they set down  braille paperwork for her, and braille writeing utensle( idk what thats call i apologize). " And i am his trainer, i will be helping you with his adjustment to his new environment. My names Conner and i dont think its a lame name..    He scoffed a bit in annoyance as soon as someone started rapping at his door. Annoying. He automatically considered anyone who was bothering him and asking him to get up and go all the way across the room to socialize with them annoying.

  And as soon as he figured out if was Eridan, it made him even more annoyed. He groaned, getting his cane and shuffling over to the door, reluctantly opening it and giving him a withering look.

  “Seriously, Eridan? That’s the best comment you can think of to greet me with? That is incredibly assholeish.”

After there trip to the pound, eridan had an idea. An idea that would for sure make up for the shittiest thing he had ever done in his life. He left terezi and the dogs trainer at her apartment, knowing that terezi wouldn't harm her to bad seeing as she was helping her dog get to know the place. He made his way down to the male dorms towards the number that terezi had giving him before he left. He knocked on the door calmly, waiting outside for an answer.  After seeing terezi get the dog, and how happy she was he thought maybe he could help another blind fellow out. It didnt cost him anything, and he was sure that anyone would love to have a dog, even if they couldnt see it. he knocked again. "sol? you there?? you havvent gone deaf too havve you?"

  Terezi nods, then goes through her bag to pull out the card with her doctor’s number. “You can really just look at my eyes if you want confirmation, but here’s her number.” She’s totally going to get an earful from her mother if she finds out about this, but does she care? Not at all. She’s getting a lovable dog. “What’s the dog’s name, anyways?”

  She thinks for a second, then shakes her head. “Nope! I don’t need to ‘try him out’. I like him.” She crouches down and scratches at his ears again, giggling as she hears his tail swiping against the floor.

  Terezi squeals in delight at the greeting, nuzzling her face against the side o the dog’s and scratching behind its ears. “Hi there, puppy! You’re real eager, aren’t you?” She giggles happily, enjoying the licking. It was a dog’s way of showing how excited and happy it was, how can she not enjoy it?

  Terezi’s entire face lights up as she’s told that, her grin stretching wider. “Yes, very sure! I think I know which dog I want now.” A lick-happy dog? That’s her kind of dog alright. Happy to be around everyone and eager to meet new people. Definitely her kind of dog. She squeals a little bit in excitement, squirming around where she stands as though trying to keep herself from doing a happy dance.

they looked at each other before finally bringing the ddog out. it siffedd around happly, on being lead to terezi it jumped up, licking her happily in greating even though the trainers tried to get him off. Eridan just laughed alittle, this was totally the dog for terezi.

  Terezi perks up when she hears ‘not fully trained’, liking the sound of that. “I want to see the greyhound. Not fully trained sounds like fun to me.” She grins at the trainer, figuring a greyhound would be a good idea. And totally not because the greyhound wasn’t wholly trained. Of course not, why would it be? That would be ridiculous. “What does the greyhound still have to work on?”

she raised aan eyebrow at the " are you sure? hes trained in the basics of commands and how to lead but his social skills are very hard to work on, he still jumps up on people and licks them excessively' eridan almost laughed, they just picked the ideal dog for terezi right there, obviously an untrained dog is the only one for her since shes pretty much untrained.

  Terezi frowns just a little as she’s led, more bothered by the lack of anything interesting than the tug. “How playful is this one…? I don’t just want a seeing-eye dog. I can get around perfectly fine. I want a companion that just knows how to help.”

" hes not fully trained yet' the trainer waved her off taking out some squeaky toys " you are allowed to play with them " eridan just watched from the sides since he wasn't blind they didn't allow him to touch the dogs since they where working, so unfair.

"It would shed too much. I don’t really want to deal with the school complaining about dog hair all over the place." She also doesn’t want to deal with lots of fur and grooming, either. She crouches down to pet the boxer, glancing to the trainer. "I guess I may as well, yeah."

The trainer blew a whisstle and the dog stood up obedintly as it was lead infront of her. She helped terezi take hold of the leaading bar and he walked off with her, turning away from walls easily and matching her pace, though he did tug.
