Mssingno - XE2 (Bieldub Remix) - Part 2

January 18, 2014 (or what I like to call): The Hunt for XE2 Two years ago, I was in London (can be regarded as common knowledge by now, sorry I can’t promise to stop talking about my time abroad still). I had only been there for seventeen days out of 158, only having gone out once, the once was good, but of course I needed more club nights to satiate my appetite. Let’s back track a little, on January 4th, I stumbled onto Mssingno’s XE2 by mere happenstance. A gift from the universe, I like to say. A quick soundcloud search positioned him in London. Possibility to see him live raised to 50%. Another search located Goon Club Allstars in London, the record label that released the Mssingno EP. Possibility to hear XE2 live raised to 75%. Upon further search showed Moleskin (of Goon Club Allstars, whose Butterz guest mix on Rinse I played out on loop, still) and Neana (who came to my attention via my accidental eavesdropping on Total Freedom track i.d.’ing Neana’s Bow Kat as played by L-VIS 1990, on the line outside of 285 Kent the autumn before), on a late line-up on the 18th. Possibility of actually hearing XE2? 85%.
