I love Hot Topic and I buy all my clothes from there. For example today I was wearing a black trenchcoat with blue flannel under it and black combat boots. I was wearing black lipstick, white foundation, and black eyeliner. I was walking outside Westerburg. It was snowing and raining so there was no sun, which I was very happy about. A lot of Heathers stared at me. I put up my middle finger at them.

idk man I'm thinking a lot about the discourse being reported in this post and my own post about crushes, which has garnered a lot of responses like this one

and I don't know exactly what to do with this yet but I'm fascinated, in a really upsetting way, by the way some of these people seem to conceptualize romantic and/or sexual attraction as an act of violation that no one should do to people they like and care about. if nothing else it raises some really compelling questions about what they think actually goes on between people who have sex and/or romantic bonds with each other if that's not supposed to be something that happens between friends.

I think; at least the person who wrote the # that you mentioned, mostly means in the way if the crush isn't reciprocated it's always a very uncomfortable situation. Of course I don't know the whole discurse or what anyone else in the post said, but the person who wrote the # has kind of a point, specially when it comes to girls befriending boys.

You can spend years thinking you have a best friend, regardless of the person being a boy, and suddenly it all sums up to the fact they were waiting for the right moment to shoot his shot instead of being "friendzone", and that of course makes a lot of girls angry because we don't seem to be able to have significant and nice friendships who are just that; friendships. Not all crushes have to amount to sex of course, it could be just platonic, but I don't know...I guess I kind of get it, in the scenario I've mentioned. The friendship really goes to shit when they confess or if they give any hint of liking you, because you don't want to hurt them, but also you don't like them like that, and for another side, girls specially, are just tired of never finding "just a friend" to be bros with, you know?

I think you can get over it and stuff, and it could go back to normal, but there's the awkward phase always...
