So happy people are still on here but how /is/ the genshin fandom doing? I’ve been playing slowly, still exploring Natlan. I feel like I’m still sitting in the restaurants of Liyue and Sumeru while everyone’s talking about Snezhnaya already! Time flies crazy and I don’t recognize a handful of characters, but it’s wonderful to have more free time for personal gaming and fandoms again.
I just want to let you know, Little Star the sagau fic about Diluc not coming home so the creator gives him his gifts when they descend, lives rent free in my head. I absolutely love you for writing it. Every so often I just come back and read it for a burst of happiness.

honestly doubted who was the hydro archon until i realized i saw leaks of her pala 😭 the men in the trailer especially the dark haired one mmmmmm 🤤 and the women were gorgeous, one of them reminded me of yelan. i think they'd get along
the fact that fontaine will be released soon but ive barely completed sumeru (and that fontaine would be even bigger? or with more activities apparently??)
alhaitham's not the cuddly type, but when his teammates' familials end up cozying up to him, he doesn't stop them

amber & klee // alhaitham not minding baron bunny or dodoco until the realization that it's an explosive NEAR HIS BOOKS, plus he's dendro (it's super effective) so he tends to avoid them
yaoyao // probably his favorite honestly, not only are they both dendro (he has a personal bias) but it also heals any aches away. though, he could do without the random radishes it throws out.
shenhe // a nice contrast to sumeru's tropical weather is a cooling companion that simply floats around him, it's quiet too!

"I'm being serious, Morax! The war is over, peace is settling, any issues can be handled by the humans and we can always guide them from a distance." You smile, "Live a human life with me. We can open a teahouse by the outskirts, we can visit the harbor on weekends, we can age ourselves and spend a human's lifetime together!"
He sighs, turning away, "I'll amuse you and visit you in my human form, but I have responsibilities I wish to take as their archon. You can play human without me."
"Aww, Morax-"
He rolls his eyes, amused, "Human lives are so fickle and short. Should you ever get tired of living their ways, you're welcome to join me in the skies again."

Doing laundry and taxes with Thoma was impossible in the first place. Not when you were destined to marry someone of the same status; a political engagement which tied you down since the day you turned of age.

For Thoma, this was as simple as nature's course. Of course you would marry a noble! He's simply a commoner, a mere house worker with the favor of his boss. It wouldn't make sense for you to marry him.

"Say you love me! Ask me to run away!" The words are desperate on your tongue. "Archons, Thoma, I wish you could be more selfish. I'd give it all up for you." You sob, collapsing onto the wooden floor as your legs give out. He immediately kneels in front of you, ready to embrace.
In quiet whispers, he cups your face, brushing tears away with his thumb, "You know I can't ask that of you."
You sniffle, "I know, I know." and "I just wanted you to try."
