Ring ring, hello?

this was a lot of fun to draw actually. I don’t ever enjoy drawing backgrounds but the limited color palette and all the textures were fun to work with.

This is directly inspired by a Buster Keaton photograph I came across. If you google ‘Buster Keaton phone’ you will find the image if you are interested in looking at it.

Honestly, I am not an overall fan of how human Alastor’s design is, HOWEVER when looking at clips and images of Buster Keaton I find it more acceptable. Which is funny because he was notorious for maintaining a stoic expression in his films….unlike Alastor who eternally smiles. Anyways it is all in the same time period which aesthetically helps as well.

Nosferatu

I went to the theater to see this movie today for the third time. I absolutely love this movie.

I was commissioned to draw Alastor and Charlie inspired by the movie.
