I write best When I am either, Falling in love, Or falling apart.

In times when Iâm not so lovable is when I need love the most
I love deep talks. Like, hell yeah, tell me about why youâd prefer to talk to your mom rather than your dad. Tell me about your favourite lyrics in the songs you listen to everyday and why theyâre your favourite. Tell me about the dog you had when you were growing up and how he was your best friend. Tell me about what kind of books you like to read when youâre alone in your room. Tell me about the things you think about right before you fall asleep. Tell me anything and everything.

To care for someone means not to expect anything in return. It also means to care enough to believe in the other personâs strengths and that they will solve their own problems. Caring does not mean taking in their emotions as though they are your own (as this affects your ability to be fully there for them; you start to care about your own feelings instead). Empathy by definition is to be able to identify how the other person feels and convey those feelings to them so they feel understood and will more likely open up. Empathy doesnât mean to share their emotions with them!

Feelings are just visitors, let them come and go.

The truth will set you free, but first it will piss you off.

âWe met six months ago at a dance night. His wife passed away three years ago. Iâd been married for thirty years and gotten divorced. It was just nice to have someone to talk to. We have so much in common. My ex-husband only wanted to stay home and watch TV. But we do all sorts of things together: walk around the city, go to museums, travel.â âHave sex.â âHush.â âWhat? Weâre still young.â (St. Petersburg, Russia)
âIt wasnât an official marriage. We didnât register. But we had a plan. I was earning good money even though I was young. I was already a specialist at the age of nineteen. She was very beautiful. Weâd been together for four years. She was a good person and very easy to talk to. Sheâd met my family and everyone loved her. At the time I was helping to construct a new subway line in Moscow. I came home from work one day and she was gone. There were no cell phones back then. Nobody knew where she was. Sheâd last been seen getting into a private taxi with her friend Natalya. A lot of people were disappearing during that time. The police stopped searching after a few months. She wasnât seen again. Thereâs a line from a Russian poem. It says: âWe love just once in a lifetime. And spend the rest of our lives looking for something similar.â Iâve had other girlfriends after Oksana. But I donât remember their birthday. Oksanaâs birthday was July 9th. She was a Leo.â

Once a group of 500 people were attending a seminar. Suddenly the speaker stopped and decided to do a group activity. He started giving each person a balloon. Each person was then asked to write their name on it using a marker pen. Then all the balloons were collected and put in another room. The people were then let into that room and asked to find the balloon which had their name written on it within 5 minutes. Everyone was frantically searching for their name, colliding with each other, pushing around others and there was utter chaos. At the end of 5 minutes no one could find their own balloon. Then, the speaker asked each person to randomly collect a balloon and give it to the person whose name was written on it. Within minutes everyone had their own balloon. The speaker then began, âThis is happening in our lives. Everyone is frantically looking for happiness all around, not knowing where it is. Our happiness lies in the happiness of other people. Give them their happiness; you will get your own happiness. And this is the purpose of human lifeâŚthe pursuit of happiness.â
It is better to be unhappy and know the worst, than to be happy in a foolâs paradise.
Fyodor Dostoyevsky, The Idiot (via fyp-philosophy)
Hablar con alguien todos los dĂas, por horas puede ser bastante destructivo. Porque vendrĂĄ un dĂa donde no hablaran en absoluto y va a ser el sentimiento mĂĄs solitario en el mundo.

May 2017 be the year you stop standing in the doorway, and actually find the courage to take steps across the threshold into the happiness you so rightfully deserve to exist in. to live in. all the time, not some of the time. all the time.
