Oh Jesus, get a load of this kid. He’s got quite the mouth on him. Kiritsugu rolls his eyes and signals the bar tender to refill his glass. In all honesty, being called a drunkard doesn’t sting as much as you’d imagine, frankly, it’s starting to become an inalienable truth. What a hypocrite he’d make of himself if he sat here and denied the unmistakable. How ever would he be able to live with himself? ( Easily ).
“ I’m not concerned about the drinking laws in England. All I’m saying, is that you look no older than sixteen. It’s not exactly far-fetched to assume you aren’t of age, Waver Velvet. ”
And with a quirked brow, he turns to face Velvet again, his wrist bent loosely as he brings the glass of amber liquid to his lips, smugly. “ You’re disrespectful. I’m not shocked; you have quite the reputation for over-compensating for your deficits with arrogance. I just never imagined I’d experience it first hand. ”
“ Though… ” He sighs. “ You’ve never been of great interest to me, so - I’m sorry from keeping you from your warm meal, I suppose. ” He waves a hand dismissively in his direction, extinguishing a cigarette butt against the center of a crystal ashtray.
“ And I’ll see you around. ”
Waver’s expression did not stop being displeased as he listened to the main, but the simple frown did shift into an infuriated ‘o’, his face deepening in color until it was pure red.
“I.. I look sixteen! I’ll have you know, I’m twenty-years-old!” His voice, despite an attempt to remain composed as he responded to the ludicrous statement, raised in both volume and pitch as he tried to respond.
The other man continuing himself, though, silenced the young man for a moment, with his blush only managing to darken.
“R-reputation?! How the hell did I manage to get any reputation, I barely spoke to any of you! In fact, I believe I only talked to you for maybe two minutes!”
He was fairly worked up by now, pointing in the near stranger’s direction with an accusatory glare. It was this growing anger that made the absolute dismissal of him all the more infuriating.
He hadn’t gotten much of a chance to find any answers on what was going on while he and Rider largely hid out yet, and Waver wasn’t going to miss out on his chance to get some just because he wasn’t of great interest to this man.
With a scowl, he took the seat next to the man and turned back towards him, arms crossed, stubbornly staying in place. Even if he had planned to sit as far away from the bar as possible, the smell already giving him a bit of a headache, this wasn’t a time for personal comfort.
“I’ll see you right now, thank you very much.”
