“Sure.”He nodded for her to lead. Folding his hands behind his back he was ready to follow. The assassin silently observed the churning. It made him curious as he couldn’t place what was causing it, but he loved seeing people squirm regardless of whether he caused it.
She soon as she broke that barrier– crossing into his personal space, he tensed, amber hues darkening. Further, she touched him– and it took every single cell in his body to not grab her wrist so hard it risked breaking. He didn’t want to scare her off… just yet. Instead her would let her off with a very clear warning. There was an unsettling stiring stillness to her words. His eyes pierced through her like daggers, “I would strongly suggest you omit any further physical contact with me…” if you would like to keep your head on your neck. “You do not know me, nor I you. Do not make such hasty assumptions about my character. As a woman you must know… we may be given one face… but we can certainly paint ourselves another.”
[ Easy… ] urged Natalie, his hallucination, from over his shoulder. He merely took a breath, but did little else to acknowledge she was there.
“Oh dear me, Miss Atomic Bomb, dear me. Musn’t give your mind to anyone. They can do terrible things to it.” A light smirk bled through his gait. “Why don’t I pay for our tea, it’s the least I could do. Now… did you get revenge on the thief?”
They were walking side by side, yet the blonde girl felt as though she wasn’t there. Everything was once again starting to lose focus, the part of her- the part that she avoided and did everything to turn away from was taking over. She hated it, she hated being the monster that scared children at night. Yet, here it came without a doubt. No fear inside of her, except the fear that was now starting to leave with the new girl, the one that would rip a person in half just for fun.
Once the new found confidence came to light, Brittany took a step back and smiled her most infamous Cheshire grin. “I was judging your character based on the contact, it seems I’ve learned more than I thought I would with the one touch. But do not worry, I will keep my hands to myself- I’m not truly a fan of letting someone else’s germs near.”
With a toss of her hair, the blonde beauty walked into the shop and laughed lightly at his request. It was extremely small, but people seemed to adore the place. Possibly for the feel of home they got when they walked in, though- she ran it for the lady who had opened it. “You do not need to buy me tea, sir. I pay the rent on this place for I like the lady whom rents it, so I keep it open and I can get free tea. Though if you’d like to tip the barista’s then that would be highly looked upon.”
Brittany took a seat at a small table and waited for the girl to bring her her usual, “why would I get revenge on the man whom loved me more truly than anyone had? He might have stolen my mind-” She raised her hand to her head and lightly drifted back to the memory of him, “but I stole something far precious of his.”
