Group Verse: Season 5 Rewrite
It’s been eight years since the Hollow was placed within the Mikaelson siblings. Eight years since they’ve all been able to be in the same space. With the siblings scattered across the globe, New Orleans has once again been divided into factions with Freya and Vincent ruling the witches, Josh ruling the vampires and Hayley ruling the wolves. A tentative peace has settled over the city and thrived over the last eight years.
But not everyone wants peace. Too much hatred stems from within the factions running deeper than anyone thinks and with the knowledge that Hope Mikaelson can not only create hybrids but will one day be able to unite all factions into one, they want to destroy the peace that’s reigned for so many years. And so, a plan is put in motion – one that jeopardizes the very fabric of the supernatural community. And when tragedy strikes in New Orleans it’s only a matter of time before all the siblings find their way back home just in time for all chaos to break loose.
Family is power – but what happens when having your family together threatens to destroy not only the city but the one thing you’re all fighting to protect? Can Freya and Hope remove and contain the Hollow in time to save the city from destruction? Will Klaus be able to find the mother of his daughter before it’s too late? Will Elijah choose to help the siblings he can’t remember or continue to live his life apart from them? It’s a race against time, a race that not everyone will survive. But Hope has no plans of losing her family – in fact she’ll do whatever she can to keep them all together, even if it destroys her.
Changes to Canon:
- This is an AU version of Season 5 of The Originals - Hope did not make a hybrid - Hope did not kidnap Hayley - Greta, Antoinette, Roman and Declan are not a thing in this verse - The Nazi storyline is not a thing in this verse - There will be NO TVD people present in this verse unless the interaction is taking place at the Salvatore Boarding school. This is exclusively a TO verse.

You have complete control over what has happened to your muse over the last 8 years. Feel free to use Canon’s backstory, change or tweak it or go somewhere completely different with it. Just make sure you mention it in your bio so everyone else is aware too.
Major Plot Points/Rules:
- Hayley being kidnapped is what brings Klaus back to New Orleans - Under the assumption that because Hope is part wolf, part witch and part vampire she can one day untie all factions as one - members of each faction came together to rise up against the abomination that Hope and her parents are. [ They are the ones who kidnapped Hayley – A witch, A wolf and A vampire working together to create a war knowing Klaus would come home and the magic from the Hollow would start to destroy the city upsetting the faction leaders. ] - The Hollow will be destroyed and with the power from that Hope restores the other side (Thus the want for muses that are already dead) - IC drama is welcome - No OOC drama - Track the tag: gv. s5rewrite - If you have any big plots you want to add that affect multiple muses please run it by me or @originallymikaelson otherwise do your thing and have a good time!
