"Isn't obedience are greater than sacrifice?"
-Samuel to Saul
Personal encounter with the Scripture is the beginning of growth.
“Then Jacob kissed Rachel and wept aloud.” -Genesis 29:11
“And [Peter] went out and wept bitterly.” -Luke 22:62
“Then [Joseph] fell upon his brother Benjamin’s neck and wept, and Benjamin wept upon his neck.” -Genesis 45:14
“They buried Abner at Hebron. And the king [David] lifted up his voice and wept at the grave of Abner, and all the people wept.” -2 Samuel 3:32
“Then Joseph fell on his father’s face and wept over him and kissed him.”-Genesis 50:1
“But Esau ran to meet [Jacob] and embraced him and fell on his neck and kissed him, and they wept.” -Genesis 33:4
“And [Joseph] wept aloud, so that the Egyptians heard it, and the household of Pharaoh heard it.” -Genesis 45:2
“Jesus wept.”-John 11:35
Friendly reminder the the Bible is full of men crying, including Jesus, and that there is no biblical precedent for the idea that it’s unmasculine to express your emotions.
THIS IS SO GREAT.
I praise God for making me cry. I am not strong after all. But His hands holding me is enough.
The Clear Border Between Successful and Ordinary Professionals
We excel when we love what we are doing. Remember those time when you do something challenging, but you are so focus that you even forgot the time? That you even forgot that there’ s another thing you need to attend?
The hype. The feeling of accomplishment. When we see that our efforts with love are finally materializing, there’s something inside our soul that starts to burn (again).
We are then motivated again.
Then, we are ready to give another best shot.
Then, we are willing to soak our whole self again on doing things that really matters to us.
Successful professionals doesn't love their salary. They don't love their position. They neither bother themselves when or when to work. They just love what they are doing. They just enjoy as they grow.
The clear border line? Their passion, dedication and love.
Are we really passionate and dedicated to what we are doing?
Do we really wanna live the rest of our lives in our current job?
If this is our last day, can we say to ourselves “I love my job.” ?
PS. If we don't face our real self right now, it will hunt us later on.

"Unless we learn how to approach our work correctly, enjoyment is almost impossible."
Engr. Jenrel
Behind the beauty of all gigantic structures out there are the handmade of these humble people.
What pains me so much is that despite of being a Christian, I am still fearful and faithless about the idea that I can move mountains.
In this time of new age, faithfulness is badly needed.
Passion, Joy and Patience These are essential for every person behind those all skyscrapers. They were built not by the strength of materials but also with the strength of everyone involved. #work #passion #servant #civilengineering
Pain is essential
You can't run from disappointments. You can't avoid hardships. The moment you answered Jesus' calling, you accepted the truth that you will need to carry your cross and oppose the "comforts" of this world.
And even if you are being fair or being good or being righteous to every person you meet, that will never guarantee a painless life.
Pain is essential for your faith maturity. There are biblical truths where their very essence will be fully revealed —or understandable — when sufferings strike your foot. When each step of your striken foot produces unbearable agony to your body.
Like the joy you have when you received Christ as your master, you also receive the privilage to suffer like your savior. Though you do what's right, the world will still reject and mock you.
When you suffer because you're doing something for Father's glory, you're actually preaching to yourself the very Word of God.
We learn from experience. We grow when we groan.
Spent stress for someone's growth and progress... #beablessingtosomeone 😁
Having "me" time in this noisy life. 😁😁😁 #metime #nature #melancholy
It's not about the price or the food or the fancy ambiance of the place. For me, it's the thought and time invested. People remember not what they received or what was done for them. They remember how they feel that time. And with this... I always make sure I leave a good one to them. But that Krispy Kreme was for me. I felt important and loved. I cherish the moment. I cherish the thought.
