“ Uh. So. Due to personal detachment to this game, the sequel likely isn’t going to happen.
But! We’ll be moving toward new games and modding experiences! This universe may get used in the future for my own personal endeavours, however HOD2 will not be happening as an actual RP game.
Sorry for everyone who was looking forward to apping, but y’know. Things happen! “
Yes, it will happen! However, due to the two mods here currently modding another group, and one mod being sick, it is likely going to be pushed back. By a lot!
The sequel will require a lot of work, and we have not had the time! Y’know, cause we’re adults having to do adult things, while still juggling stuff that should be fun even though no one ever appreciates it and makes me wanna off myself.
Hahaha!
So... Yeah, it’ll happen! Just hold your horses and be ready for... Hmmm... Maybe next year? Who knows! Might end up being later this year. “
Hi! When do you think you'll be making the sequel? I'm really excited to app! :D
“The time frame is currently unknown, we gotta iron out some details, balance some other stuff we are involved in, and yaydayada. I would say we will release it some time next year I believe. we will announce when apps are opened on this here blog.”
As Atsuko’s execution ended, the remaining four students made their way down the stone steps of the tower. Relief was in the air, though it was being smothered by the fear of what awaited the small group in the new world - The world that Fujimoto Atsuko had made, with the help of her army of Reserve Courses.
No.
The SHSL Anarchy army.
The four, Kouta, Miwa, Masashi, and Pidge, felt the despair as they gazed upon the world from the ground, the large doors keeping them captive now opened wide open as they gingerly approached. For the firs time since they were forced into the tower, they saw the real, actual, grassy ground. And the anarchy beyond it.
The city in the distance, burning, in complete disarray.
Despite her death, it seemed Atsuko had still won.
They had to keep their heads held high, and face whatever it was that she ahd in store for them from beyond the grave. Face it as a team. They had been through hell together, and they’d continue through the next layer of hell, to get their peace.
With their first steps into the outdoors, the tower behind them, they felt it. That feeling of loss.
Nothing could save them from the world they so desperately wanted back into. The world now ruled by the Anarchy instilled by the queen of it all.
Masashi was the first to move, hand linking with Pidge, and then Kouta, pulling the two along, out into their new home. Kouta pulled Miwa with him.
Who knew what the future held for them all.
All they knew was they had to survive, no matter what, to keep the memories of their lost friends alive. Though, that was easier said than done, as Atsuko had explained they were nothing more than animals to be hunted in the outside.
With all of them out, the tower doors behind them shut, giggling being heard from the other side following the sudden slam. They could only assume it was a group of Reserve Courses, tasked with keeping the tower, an their precious Miracle Girl’s body safe.
The Tower was no longer a safe place, however, it never was, but now not one of the kids could second guess their choice to leave it.
A restless night plagued Hanazawa Yuriko, she just couldn’t stand the collar around her neck. It bothered the Sukeban into the late nights of the night. There was no way to escape the uncomfortable feeling such an accessory created. Except. Maybe there was.
Getting up from her bed, not giving to care to make it since it would be only a quick trip to the first floor and back. Hanazawa made her way down to the cafeteria and walked straight into the kitchen and stopped at the drawer. Hopefully this was the one she was looking for...
Opening the drawer revealed that it was indeed the knife drawer! Grabbing a blade, she aimed it at the area where the collar met its ends. There was no way what the fox said was true. She thought. Why would Monofox even place something that could kill the students, wouldn’t that take away from his fun?
Believing that the collars were a bluff, Hanazawa jammed the knife into the metal locking mechanism. The moment the point of the blade forced its way into the collar, a loud explosion sounded out into the dead of night. The noise reaching all the way to the fifth floor.
This woke up all the students and prompted them to to rush down to investigate what happened.
Once in the kitchen the students were greeted with the smell of slightly charred flesh and various pieces of flesh and cloth strewn everywhere in the kitchen. Looks like another extreme cleaning Job for the Tour Guide.
The monitors in the kitchen came to life, showing the surveillance video of Hanazawa’s actions and her unfortunate demise. Monofox spoke over the looping video
“Kekeke, looks like a late night snack gone wrong. Yuriko thought I was bluffing, well now she is proof that this explosive business is one hundred percent real. Sweet dreams after seeing this... Kekeke.”
The students sat in the theater, enjoying the american movie Mean Girls. It has just reached its climax. The students well invested into the movie when suddenly the screen cut off into black. The Mechanical Fox walked and placed himself in front of the screen. The Tour Guide ejecting the Movie from the DVD Player.
“Kekeke... Enjoying your movies are you? What is this one? Mean girls? Well sorry but in no way sincerely sorry, but I have a job to do.”
“Now Kids, I got a very special surprise for you! Its your very own, monofox approved Collar! It looks big and cluncky but I assure you guys that it is a must if you want to be the most stylish student in the whole tower!”
The Tour Guide Stuck a CD crudely labeled Monofoxes Grand Slam into the DVD slot. The screen now showed A Technical looking collar rotating on a pedestal, as if this was an informercial.
“Isn’t It snazzy? I designed it myself! Now I wish I could wear one, but there is only enough for you students. Due to it being mandatory for you guys to wear this, this collar is free! Now stay seated while Guide and I place these collars on you...”
Just as the fox said, the mascots placed the collar around each and every one of the surviving students necks. Once closed around their necks, the inner mechanisms of the collar whirred as the accessory snapped shut and locked. What he hell were these anyway?
“Oh man you guys look so wonderful in those collars, makes me a bit jealous... Well Not really...”
“You can’t take them off and any attempts of trying to tamper or remove them results in a... Well let me let the video explain for me.”
On queue, Tour Guide switched the disc once more. When the DVD loaded, the students were meet with an array of explosion videos playing back to back.
“You guys will go out with a bang! A Boom! A great and fiery explosion These collars are stuck on you until a some one is murdered! Now until then, sit back relax and enjoy your pathetic time together. Its not like there is a bomb strapped to you. Oh wait... Kekeke!”
With that, the fox left the theater in silence and resumed his post at the concession stand.
Chapter 5, Motive:
Bombs have been strapped to the Kids necks via a collar, any sort of tampering with them will result in. Unless a murder happens, the kids are stuck with the collars indefinitely.
No one had noticed anything was off about the Monomachines. No one! Not even Guide herself had seen anything funky with the machines.
But as Rin went to stuff her multitude of coins into the machines for some neat swag, she was met with both machines starting smoke, metal rattling and seemingly falling apart at the gentle touch of her fingers - and then...
A room reminiscent of a Normal Movie theater one would find outside the tower. Outfitted with 4 rows filled with 8 of the most luxurious in reclining theater seats and a small concession area where students may grab popcorn and soda to enjoy a movie experience like none other. Unfortunately, nothing is showing on the screen.
Library
A classic library room with rows and rows of shelves filled with books that have any relation to ballroom dancing, politics, calligraphy and various academic subjects. Contains a few tables with chares, bean bag seats, and various posters with monofox the star of many corny atempts to convince people to read.
Dead student memorials
Mitsuoki Memorial
All of the furnuture has been moved around, to better resemble and escape room. There are symbols all oer the walls, waiting to be decoded by a master of codes.
A small hatch is open near the back of his room, being covered by a glass pane surrounded with multiple keypads, all demanding a code to rid the hatch of the pane.
And all stacked perfectly in his wardrobe are rubix cubes. All already finished.
Atop his bed is of course the memorial picture of Mitsuoki, but also his.... his head. In a jar. The head is surrounded by a thick glass wall, seperating the bed from the rest of the room, with a symbol based puzzle blocking entry.
Momoko Memorial
Nothing but the highest quality of decorations cover Momoko’s room, from top to bottom. It looks ready for a gala to take place inside of it, one that could only be considered the most ‘happenest’ party this side of the Tower!
Along the walls are gorgeous lights, adorned with golds, silvers, and more expensive looking jewels than one could shake a stick at.
In her wardrobe are expensive clothes, made with real furs, pristine leathers, anything that could cost hundreds of dollars are in there, sitting perfectly. Below that are high heeled shoes that no normal human could even think of walking in.
And a small box, filled with what look like bones sits just in front of her memorial picture on her bed.... How gruesome.
As per the usual, the rooms shift upwards yet again, coming to their next stop - Whether it was the last one, or if there were truly more, was unknown to the kids as they marched out of the trial room.
They are met with Monofox, Guide, and.... What remained of Momoko’s charred body.
“ You know... I kinda liked Momoko! She did give me my new favourite toy, after all.... Kekeke, not! Toot toot! “
And with that, the little fox tossed her down the chute.
Guide, for once, stepped up to the chute as well, a magazine in her hands. She tossed it down, muttering ‘down the chute’ with an eerie smile on her face. She turned back to the kids, chute shutting loudly behind her.
“ Now that that’s outta the way! Let’s all agree to have a fun time this week, okay? “
For once, no monocoins are passed out. Instead, Guide gives everyone a... a ticket? It has ‘Foxxy Theaters Presents: The Last Supper, one admittance’ written on it in what looks to be gold ink. Tacky.
Monofox waited for the female Oshiro to walk over to him. She requested to have the head of Imada, well he would give it to her but at a price... The fox will never give away his favorite toys for free. Everything in this tower had a price.
He waited for her to bend down to his level. Once at even eye level, Monofox brandished his claws and without a moment of hesitation swiped at the hostess left eye! Leaving claw marks the ran from above the eyebrow to her upper cheek, being sure to strike the eye.
With the payment done, Monofox picked up the head and held it in front of him, ready to be pick up.
The TV’s roared to life, bringing a loud and pain inducing screech int the ears of the Towers Students. On the monitor was no other than the lovely mechanical fox that everyone either loved or loved to hate!
"Hello students! Its monofox here on another regularly scheduled announcement! It hasn't been too long since I last called upon you, but I fee like now is the perfect Time to call you guys up to the 4th floor stairwell! Be there or be square! You have 10 minutes.”
With that the screens shut off abruptly as the students hurriedly shuffled over to the meeting space designated by the fox. For once he was there on time and before them, these seems like its the first time since he first started this horrid way to introduce incentives to kill.
Many of them wondering what the fox would have in store for them this week, some clung to the hope that I couldn’t be as bad as last times.
If only that were the case...
“Good what ever time it is students! Hope you guys are settled and had a good rest, especially after my wondrous presentation of such sweet chocolate treats I presented a week ago.”
“I know Hiden had a great rest. So great in fact that It was such an entertainment to watch him still reeling from his deep sleep coma-tic dreams Must’ve seemed real Huh Hiden-kun kekeke....”
“In fact Watching over my patient has given me suuuuuuuch a great idea for this weeks motive! Now lend me an ear as I explain!”
From his toy chest on the stairs, monofox seemed to pulled a small gas cylinder that was roughly the size of the Mechanical amalgamation. Tap on it with the pads of his paw as he spoke.
For decades scientist across the globe have been studying the human brain, trying to grasp an understanding of it. Today we know that the mind holds information, memories, and thoughts, specifically, a persons own insecurities. What does this monologue have to do with this weeks motive you ask? Well while everyone was asleep or should've been asleep, the vents pumped a little something special into all of your living quarters, a drug that causes a person to constantly hear their insecurities and see their nightmares and greatest fears over and over again, day and night. Unable to escape. As the days go by, the voices in your mind will grow louder and louder, the Nightmares and fears will only become more worse until they are the only thing you hear, think, breath, see. The only way to stop this and receive the cure that I hold is to murder someone by the end of the time period.
With a move of his paws Monofox twisted the valve that held the colorless and odorless gas into the air.
“Its been a good while so the drug should be taking affect any second now! Good luck in your own personal hell! KEKEKE.”
Chapter 4, Motive:
Due to an odorless drug being constantly released from the vents, the students must endure seeing and hearing their nightmares, worst fears, and insecurities every waking and sleeping hour. There is no escape from this except to murder someone.
The TV monitors lit up to life as the image of the fox in his play room came on the screens. What did the fox want this time? It hasn’t even been a day since the trial so this couldn’t have been a motive.”
“All right! Kiddos! wasn’t last nights execution so much fun?! Well get ready for more fun! You know that cold room devoid of life called the lava cake room? Well everyone gather there in about an hour!”
As the students entered the Lava cake room, they could notice that it was much warmer and had an orange glow to it now than when it had first opened to the students. Another addition to the Lava cake room was that half of it was curtained off!
Any attempts to look behind the curtain were stopped by Monofox. He wanted to reveal the surprise to all the students in the room at once. The only thing they could see was the brighter orange glow that escaped from under the curtains.
“Well it looks like enough people have come for me to finally get things rolling in this room! Now before I begin the grand opening of this room’s true purpose I would like to thank each and every one of you for showing up! I am sure you guys have noticed that not everyone is here but fret not! They were already here before you! Now please give a round of applause to the four lucky individuals chosen to have the first four lava cakes and to participate in this Lava cake roulette!”
With the pull of a rope, the curtains rolled off to the sides to reveal a T-shaped bar table with Hiden Yuko, Atsuko Fujimoto, Pidge, and Imada Mitsuoki seated in the middle seats facing the crowd in that order. When they were alone they were dragged away from where ever they were and moved in a way so that no one would notice them being kidnapped by the fox.
The audience couldn’t see it but they were strapped and chained to their tall bar seats with weights to prevent any attempts to escape. Their upper body was free as to allow movement for what ever this Lava cake roulette would be. There was a wall of down flowing lava quite a bit behind them, which provided a lot of the orange glow in the room.
Ignoring whatever they had to say Monofox Picked up some plates that held steaming hot and fresh Cakes that one could assume is Lava cake and placed one in front of each student he held captive. He then turned back into the audience.
“Now Lava cake is my favorite food in the whole wide world! I just love it! It has so much chocolate and the sauce flowing out of ti is so good! Ah I could Dig into one right now! But alas I decided to share my wonderfully homemade pastry with these four first. The rules of this game is that you have to eat it at least half of the cake in order to be released! Three cakes are... Normal while one is made with a special ingredient! Be the first one done and you win a free Monofox plush!”
With that said Monofox slide a fork to the four students sitting with a lava cake.
“Bon Appetite! Kekeke!”
What the fuck?! Why did they have to be subjected to this? Pidge struggles in their seat, even though trying to escape was futile. They finally relaxed as the cake was distributed, a sour expression on their face. They didn't want to touch the cake.
But, fear got to them and they didn't want to sit here and wait for the poisoned cake to catch up to them. Pidge took whatever utensil they were offered and ate the cake as fast as they possibly could.
Well, it wasn't hurting them, so it had to be okay, right? They ate it messily but was quick to wipe their face with their hoodie sleeve and be done the first.
This entire situation was absolutely insane. Bound to a chair and forced by a maniacal robotic fox to eat a cake? This was something that even in the most eccentric of sci-fi novels would be strange. After everything that had happened so far, she just wanted one week to be easy. Could the world not simply give her one week of peace and without this fox’s stupid antics?
She knew that talking back to the fox would only serve to get her in trouble and as soon as the cake was placed in front of her, she turned her face away from it. Gosh, that looked sickeningly sweet...She didn’t have anything against sweets or anything like that, it was just that this was, perhaps, a bit much for her liking.
Reluctantly, she picked up the utensil placed in front of her and took a cautious bite out of it. Despite the overwhelming flavor of sugar and chocolate, she couldn’t taste anything off about it and simple lava chocolate sauce flowed out of the little hole she had made. After all, if there was cyanide in it, the cake would taste faintly of almonds. Deeming it safe to eat, she ate the required half with the grace of a princess.
Offering the small fox a shaky smile, she inclined her head a bit in uncertain thanks and sat with her hands folded in her lap. Now she could only wait and see what fate awaited her friends. Her mind could not get rid of the offending thought of “At least it wasn’t me.”
Mitsuoki was emotionally barren by this point. Was he afraid? Hell yes he was. He had no idea what to expect here. There could be any number of things wrong with the cake in front of him. Did he want to pick up that fork? God, no. But it was the only way to get free at this point, so he had no real choice in the matter.
He shakily reached out with a hand and took hold of the fork. Mitsuoki stared down at the cake, trying hard to work up the courage to take a bite. Would his be the one with the special ingredient? He had no way of knowing without taking the bite. With a whimper, he carved off a small chunk and placed it in his mouth....and it was fine. It was just the average slice of lava cake. And dare he say it, it tasted good. He had no qualms about eating his half after that. He was still suspicious that something was in it that would have bad effects later, but for now he continued eating until he'd met the requirements to be able to go free. Here's hoping that his suspicions turned out to be false!
The fact that they were preverting one of his favorite snacks was beyond insulting. That he might die from eating it? That was just rude.
Yuko pulled against the restraints, testing their strength. It didn't seem like he'd be able to pull his way free, he would have to suffer and hope that luck was on his side.
He took the offered fork and dug into the cake. It was delicious. Of course it was.
He didn't wish the tainted cake on anyone...but, honestly, he hoped it wasn't his. As soon as he finished the molten chocolate piece of heaven. Yuko set the fork down.
Now all that was left to do was wait.
And wait.
The others were done with their offered pieces now and glancing around to see who had been the unlucky one of the four. Yuko blinked slowly at them all.
No one seemed to be any different. Pidge, Imada, and Atsuko all seemed all right. Monofox lied? What was going-
The room seemed to swim and Yuko lurched forward, grabbing onto the edge of the table. Oh fuck.
He didn't scream or cry. He just let out a pitiful whine as another wave of tiredness rolled over him. This wasn't good. He hadn't gotten Kouta to take back the deal. Masa was still in danger. He couldn't die now!
Slumping forwards onto the table. Yuko turned his head towards Monofox.
Just as the hacker felt the last of his strength leave him, all he could manage was a weak glare at the evil fox plush.
Then, nothing.
Monofox continued to laugh in his weird mechanical way as he watched Yuko fall over, and watched the reaction of the audience. Yes it was Yuko who had ingested the Lava cake laced with Propofol, which caused him to slip into a medically induced coma.
“Kekek! kekeke! Ah don’t worry He isn’t dead. Just in a coma! I put enough in there to the point he would be out for a while! Kekeke! Now if you would excuse me, I have to transport my patient to his room!”
The fox continued to laugh as he released the kids from their restraints. Once he got to Yuko, he lifted the unconscious boys arm to wave bye to the others before throwing him onto the floor and dragging him by the feet up the stairs and into Yuko’s room where he was placed on his bed quite roughly.
