she didn’t need to lose her precious picchan so early in her life, even though they had already spent the entirety of her high school career together and now the poor cat was stuck with her and no yuushin. she sighed wistfully. if yuushin were here now, he would have already found picchan and kissed her forehead, stopping her worrying with a little action and placating her by fixing her mistake. she didn’t even know how picchan had gotten out of the apartment, but she wasn’t going to dwell on it, instead following him towards the trees and stopping in front of it. she looked down at her tights and skirt, frowning.
she would have to go through with it either way, ripped tights be darned. she walked forward, completely zoning out on anything tatara might’ve said, and she completely climbed up to the first branch, trying to see if her beloved pet was anywhere near there. she looked down at him and gave a nervous grin, before looking around a bit more. it was no luck, since picchan wasn’t up in that tree, and not in any of the other trees she could see. this vantage point was for nothing. she started to climb down, only to let out a loud soft noise of fear as she fell to the floor.
her back hit first, and she let out a gasp at the feeling, before slowly sitting up and hunching over. tears were in her eyes already but she ignored them, grabbing at the tree base with one hand to pull herself up, and she stood, wrapping her arms around her center as she peered up at tatara through her eyelashes, wanting nothing more than to flee from the embarrassing scene she had just put herself in, if not for the mere thought of finding her cat somehwhere in the foliage.
( && she would take humiliation to find picchan. )
