The machine was made by Taito for their X+ arcade system.
There is a second version, nicknamed "2.0" it features a new battle mode character: The Medic, better online support, 21 new weapons, survivor gold that could be used to gain a cosmetic style for a character, (purchase weapons and much more in the online store.) and a new hud.
Unfortunately the servers went down in 2010, leaving the online part inoperable, the main game and the offline battles are still available.
The arcade itself is pretty rare to come by, I myself have never seen it irl but I have played the unofficial pc port.
