Beneath - The Barren Throne
Icelandic Death Metal band Beneath’s will release their sophomore full length The Barren Throne via Unique Leader 30/04/14. This release is Beneath’s first release with new vocalist Benedikt Natanael Bjarnason, who joined the band in 2013.
The Barren Throne was recorded at Hertz Studios, Poland by the Wielsawski brothers. Artwork by Raymond Swanland who also provided the artwork for their first full lenght Enslaved By Fear (2012)
The end result is a complex and technical, yet dynamic Death Metal Album that reqards repeated listening.

Icelandic Death Metallers extraordinaire Malignant Mist have released a 4 track EP entitled Celestial Doom on their Bandcamp site.
Who are Malignant Mist? They hail from a tiny island located between the North Atlantic and Arctic Ocean. Despite their young age these lads are veterans within the Icelandic scene.

Their vocalist Ingólfur Ólafsson (INGÓ) has performed every day at Eistnaflug festival more than once a different band each day! All of these bands have above average talent and a very characteristic kind of sound, so much “their own” that they could almost certify it with a “Made in Iceland” stamp. The album will be released on the 11th of October in The Faroe Islands and the 15th of November in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It will also be released worldwide digitally on the 15th of November. The artwork has been designed by the very talented Jón Sonni Jensen.

The Vintage Caravan inked a deal with Nuclear Blast earlier this week!
Founded in 2006 at the age of only 12 years, THE VINTAGE CARAVAN since have released their self-titled debut album, played numerous shows in and outside of Iceland and built up the reputation of a highly intense live band. For 2014 the trio is already confirmed for renowned Roadburn Festival in Holland.
The bands debut on Nucelar Blast "Voyage" will be released early 2014.
