If this band hadn't had been shady from the beginning, I would've been ecstatic at the fact that my babies were now having babies. But the fact is that this band is hella shady!!! I'm having a super hard time believing any of this!!
This band isn’t shady, it just isn’t heterosexual. And that’s what the most depressing thing about this entire situation is. That they would literally rather have you believe that -

Zayn would break up with his fiance (and fellow Syco label artist) via text after a two-year engagement.
Liam would start dating someone (also a felow Syco label artist) who he met when he was 14, is still married and, instead of focusing on his upcoming solo career, would also become a father at 23.
- instead of just saying, “Hey…these guys aren’t straight, but it’s 2016 and surely that shouldn’t affect whether or not you like their music.”
Niall is the only person in that band who has legitimately dated a woman, and it wasn’t even in the media! I’ve mentioned before that Niall is the only member with whom I have mutual friends, and a friend of mine literally texted me from Shoreditch House to be like, “lol Niall is here with Selena Gomez” and yet there was nothing in the papers about it. You’re telling me that Niall can date one of the biggest pop stars in the world completely under the radar but Louis looks in the direction of anyone who’s female and suddenly it’s Daily Mail-worthy?
If you sit back and look at the way in which each member’s love life has been handled there is one big fat “one of these things is not like the other” and that is Niall. If we take Niall as an example of a young man who is able to date on the down low, why is it that the other four members have every minute detail of every interaction with ANY female so aggressively documented in the press? It’s almost as if…gasp!…they’re trying to hide something. Niall can ride the TUBE without it making the news, but Louis can’t even go to the dentist without being papped? Ed Sheeran can write an actual song about Niall sleeping with Ellie Goulding that gets brushed under the rug, but Taylor Swift uses a male adjective and suddenly it’s definitely about Harry Styles?
This entire shit show is so aggressively homophobic that it makes me sick, because it basically says, “We would rather you believe that these are shitty people than just let them come out.” And it’s so unfair that it really breaks my heart.
